I think the fishing is so easy now we aren't seeing the need to report. I've only been out a couple times this year and it's been easy limits and everyone I talked to at the launch said the same. I could be wrong, but that's my assumption. 2

Tiller Posted Thursday at 11:09 AM Report Posted Thursday at 11:09 AM Made a quick evening run, fished 7-9pm. Set up about 5 miles east of the Catt, found a mega school 2 miles long of piles on fish constantly on the graphs. The bite was fast and furious with times only able to fish 1 rod in hand. When we were able to get more rods in, doubles triples and even quads were normal. Landed over 40 all released but 1 that went in the cooler on ice. Worm harnesses on 5oz bb did best, small spoon on a bb also took fish. 1
Slapshot Posted Saturday at 01:11 AM Report Posted Saturday at 01:11 AM Gonna head out the cat tomorrow afternoon as I plans in the morning will give a report when finishedSent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

By the time we got to 73, we had a 2 man limit in a little over 2 hours. Purple was the best color for us too. Most fish were suspended around 52'. It's easy fishing right now, just about anything works. 2

walnut109 Posted Saturday at 02:33 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:33 PM Fished out of Dunkirk Thursday evening (7/10) and Friday morning (7/11). Two man limit both days. Worm harnesses down 40 over 65 FOW did most of the work. Most fish in the 20" to 22" range. Light winds and few boats made for an enjoyable 24-hour trip. 1

We caught a 3 man limit in just over 2 hours this am. Caught fish everywhere from 60 - 100 fow. Wormharnesses fished off downriggers, leadcore, and bottom bouncers all caught fish. 2
