I think the fishing is so easy now we aren't seeing the need to report. I've only been out a couple times this year and it's been easy limits and everyone I talked to at the launch said the same. I could be wrong, but that's my assumption. 2

tds840 Posted July 8 Report Posted July 8 Gonna fish out of the Catt. tomorrow morning. Any suggestions as to which way to troll once we get out there, East or West ? Thanks
SchultzFishingTeamOutdoors Posted July 9 Report Posted July 9 Catt creek today 55 to 60 fow sticks, harnesses and worm burner's 5 color pulling sticks riggers 30 to 40 down worm burner's 3oz snap weights harnesses. 1
SchultzFishingTeamOutdoors Posted July 10 Report Posted July 10 We fished a touch east of the creek best bites we found were straight out front of the creek. 1
Tiller Posted July 10 Report Posted July 10 Made a quick evening run, fished 7-9pm. Set up about 5 miles east of the Catt, found a mega school 2 miles long of piles on fish constantly on the graphs. The bite was fast and furious with times only able to fish 1 rod in hand. When we were able to get more rods in, doubles triples and even quads were normal. Landed over 40 all released but 1 that went in the cooler on ice. Worm harnesses on 5oz bb did best, small spoon on a bb also took fish. 1
Slapshot Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 Gonna head out the cat tomorrow afternoon as I plans in the morning will give a report when finishedSent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
ciscokid Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 WENT OUT OF CATT TODAY 2 BOATS BOTH GOT LIMITS BEFORE NOON WORM HARNESSES. PURPLE WAS BEST COLOR AND GOLD. IT GOT YUCKY HOT AND HUMID FISH AVERAGED 3 POUNDS! I WENT STRAIGHT OUT AND THEN A LITTLE EAST FISH WERE SCATTERED HAD ONE HOTWAY POINT. 1
Dcra Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 Fished off the Cat yesterday, in 55' straight out and went out to 73'. By the time we got to 73, we had a 2 man limit in a little over 2 hours. Purple was the best color for us too. Most fish were suspended around 52'. It's easy fishing right now, just about anything works. 2

ciscokid Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 THX, THEY SEEM TO BE IN 55-60 FT ALL OVER THE LAKE. YOU DON'T LIKE EATING EYES?? LOL
walnut109 Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 Fished out of Dunkirk Thursday evening (7/10) and Friday morning (7/11). Two man limit both days. Worm harnesses down 40 over 65 FOW did most of the work. Most fish in the 20" to 22" range. Light winds and few boats made for an enjoyable 24-hour trip. 1

LOL Love eating eyes but freezer is full currently. Still working on perch from April lol. I’m only keeping what fish won’t release till I start running low
ciscokid Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 THAT REALLY GOOD I FEEL SAME WAY. I GIVE FISH AWAY TO MY FRIENDS AT CHURCH, NEIGHBOR AND TO THE GUYS THAT JUST INSTALLED MY RADON MITIGATION SYSTEM. NOW READY TO KEEP SOME.
Bottom Bouncer Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 Barcelona is still on 🔥, as I suspect the entire eastern end of the lake is. We caught a 3 man limit in just over 2 hours this am. Caught fish everywhere from 60 - 100 fow. Wormharnesses fished off downriggers, leadcore, and bottom bouncers all caught fish. 2

ciscokid Posted July 12 Report Posted July 12 AREN'T THOSE THE SAME PIC'S FROM TE OTHER DAY? SURE LOOKS LIKE IT.
Tiller Posted July 13 Report Posted July 13 Fished the last few hours of light. Stayed in tight and pounded them, 20 exactly landed and released. Every harness worked it didn’t really seem to matter. Doubles triples and a couple of quads. Fish ranged from dinks to 24”
Fishmaster196 Posted July 13 Report Posted July 13 Is buffalo still fishing well or is it time to head west
