Dcra Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Fished Saturday 6-27 off the Catt. Left the dock at 7:15 am. Headed straight out to 60', east wind so trolled towards Dunkirk. Releases were going off before we could even set up. Colors didn't matter. Had a 2 man limit by 8:50am. The bite was on. Also picked up 2 nice perch. Great morning on the water, although short. 3
Slapshot Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 Out of the Catt 6/28Got a really late start. First line in at 12:15 pm and pulled lines at about 2:30pm. Stick baits out produced worm harnesses, run on a dipsey out 110 - 120 on a #3 setting and even put one on a downrigger back 30 feet down 45 and managed to get 2. Ended up with our limit. Best depth was 68 - 72 feet.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United 2
Tiller Posted June 30 Report Posted June 30 Short evening trip out of the Catt, little different program, crawling into the current looking for suspended marks using a 5/8oz jigging rap. No where seemed stacked, marks were singles and scattered. But if they interacted they ate. Couple hours time produced 7/8. 68fow seemed to be best 1
Tiller Posted July 8 Report Posted July 8 Took the lady out for a quick run to test a new prop, figured after several days of east/northeast winds fish would be in tight. Stopped in the first 50 and they were stacked up high 20-30 down. Wasn’t planning on keeping anything but the first fish didn’t want to release so I figured hit a box and call it. Less then 40 minutes later we were done. Full spread of meat rigs on 2oz snap weights with boards, fire tiger willow and a Colorado Chartreuse grape dots were non stop. Dec survey kid said we were the only boat to achieve a limit today and most guys were running out deep. 2

Tiller Posted Friday at 11:45 PM Report Posted Friday at 11:45 PM Ran out to the fence in 60, blank screen for a little while cruised around looking out to 63 and still blank. Ran out to 65 and good consistency all fish oriented right on the bottom. set up on west troll even with some gentle rollers and slight breeze coming from the west the ne current was heavy, sog was about 1.8-2. 2-6oz bb with harnesses and a 4oz with a thunder stick jr. they all took fish but I couldn’t get touched on a few variations of purple and silver blades that have previously been hot. By the time I hit 68fow I was boxed out. I don’t think it matters too much right now but these two harnesses were unstoppable. Both copper backs, a wonder bread copper back took a fish or two before the bottom hook broke off it. looks like low winds to continue, should be a fun weekend 3
Steelhead5 Posted Sunday at 10:54 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:54 PM I know it’s not as fast of a limit as Sunset but, out of Buffalo we did a 3 man limit in 3 1/2 hours. Copper backs definitely out produced silver back harnesses. 3,4,5 oz. Snap weights on the boards out produced the bottom bouncers too. Many suspended fish from 48 FOW to 53 FOW. Tight lines folks. 3
