  8. Any action goin on off the Catt?
  9. Thank you sir !!
  10. Add in glow colored jigging raps especially in low light conditions. Can’t go wrong with spoons either. I’ve had great success with the og classics like silver, gold, copper kastmasters and Swedish pimples. Shiver minnows and moonshine jigging spoons. Aswell as my personal favorite perch spoon the buckshot. Colors like hot orange and yellows, golds and browns and smelt patterns. Modern day spoons made in tungsten help you get down faster when the school is hot producing faster limits. General weight range I’m shooting for is 1/4-3/8oz depending on how aggressive they are and conditions such as waves and currents. Light braid in the 2-6lb range with 15’ of 6lb fluro leader on a 4’ UL rod is my standard.
  11. Thanks man !!
  12. Thankyou Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  13. For perch on Erie I exclusively use the 5/16oz 2” jigging rap. Top colors year to year consistently being the gold/balck, silver/black, rainbow trout, and goby colored. With my best color which has taken more perch then all the other baits combined being the parrot colored blue/chartreuse. That day I was using the clown color which I normally don’t use very much.
  14. Great report !!! What size jiggin rap and what colors?? TIA
  15. I JUST GOOGLE IT THERE IS NO RECORD OF A BOAT SINKING OFF THE CATT IN 2025. THERE WAS ONE AT THE MOUTH OF THE NIAGARA RIVER AND ONE IN THE NIAGARA RIVER. FYI
  16. Earlier
  17. No Lake Erie windmills are needed. Plenty of hilltop windmills in New York State now.
  18. Fished Barcelona this morning. It was a little rough but fishable. Fished between 81 - 87 fow. Got our 12 in about an hour and a half. Harnesses on 5 and 7 color, downriggers set at 48 and 54 and a bottom bouncer all took fish. We did get a couple shorts, but on average the fish were bigger than we've been catching this year.
  19. 9/18/25 left Catt headed north west rods in 10:00am battled the chop for a bit and back on the trailer at noon. 2 man limit with first time friend to Erie. Riggers with burner's 58 and 62 down 5 color and 7 color with sticks divers with harnesses on 2.5 setting out 140 stayed in 75 to 78 fow pics of best color's below didn't matter it all worked 3 rods in most of the time. Another great day πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

  21. Man what another insane trip we never sat down 2 man wrecking crew we were done in 45 minutes!!!!!!! We had a few seventeens early on and the further towards Dunkirk we went the bigger they got. Same program as Monday maybe a little deeper on the downriggers we were parking them at 65. Quick shout out to Tom at the hanover boat launch he does a great job keeping everybody in line out there ! awesome time awesome facility!
  22. Good morning it's Wednesday and I'll be back in it. Give me a shout out if anyone is out there with me today here we go again!!!!!
  23. One of these days I’ll run into you out there. You got us beat. We had 17 in an hour and a half today. Worm burners on the riggers set down at 62, wire dipseys set at 1 1/2 and 128’ out. Worm harnesses on the dipseys. Just four rods today and could not keep up.
  24. Outstanding! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ’ͺ
  25. What an ABSOLUTE BLAST today. 18 in an hour and a half. I never sat down!!!!! 75 fow head west. Dwn rggrs 60 worm harness and stick bait. And spoons and worm harness on a dipsies were so hot 3 setting 170 feet. 2.1 miles an hour.what a blessing.
  26. Fished yesterday evening, first decent perch bite of the fall. Not stellar but good. Found some large schools from 68-71fow suspended about 10-15 off bottom. Average size was good with some real fattys mixed in. Plain jigging rap was the best bait. Reeling up to suspended marks produces bonus walleye catches.
