  4. As the lake surface waters warm, the walleyes and others move to deeper colder waters, The Fourth of July they are best west of Sturgeon Point, then to five miles further west when the local waters rise above 72 degrees.
  5. Fished West, out of the Catt. yesterday morning. Started in 40 fow but the bite wasn’t on until we moved out to 62 fow and stayed steady out until 67 fow. Downriggers down between 42’ and 55’. Lead core did really well out anywhere between 7 and 10 colors. Worm harnesses did the best and the Bandit Purple Black long-A stick bait did well also. Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

  13. Been a while since I post on here but haven't been fishing much this year. Fished out of buffalo yesterday noon to 7pm, tough fishing with wind/waves. Finished with 10 and one 29.5 inches. Couldnt weight in yet because everything was closed. Fished cranks and harness, both did about the same. Fish seem scattered scattered but seem best around 30-40ft. A lot of throwback, a dozen or so. Heading to Dunkirk today. Sent from my SM-S926U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  14. Found some today out of Buffalo it was rough. Didn’t mark many but caught a couple weighers for the Derby and plenty to eat. Harnesses were the ticket for us but heard good reports on sticks as well. Tight lines. Still searching for the elusive 10lb’r!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

  19. that I am not sure of, I am not sure when they started with this mounting system but believe it’s newer than 2004. They recess into the side rail of the gunnel.
  20. Fished out of the Catt yesterday from noon to 8. Trolled stick and harness. 1 white bass and 1, 13.5 inch perch. Lake was flat and calm. Best marks were in 35 to 38 feet early and 60 feet later on. They didn't want to eat. Only a couple other boats out. Got as far west as Dunkirk. I think I will wait awhile before going again. Hats off to everyone who caught nice catches in the tournament last weekend.
  21. Will these fit any Crestliner? I have a 2004 model 2050 thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  22. 6 used crestliner sure mount gunnel brackets $150. Original price from Crestliner Set of 2 are $95
  23. Was planning to camp in Orchard Park and fish out of Buffalo Harbor this weekend. However, it looks to be 16mph wind west to east. That would blow me off my home Lake Ontario waters. Thoughts? I run an 18 foot Tracker. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  24. Electric motors and batterys are a better investment with gasoline for your outboard that will get you safely onshore in a sudden blow.
  25. Out last night until 10p. Very very slow for us. Couple wallies couple smallies, tried 20-40fow best was 35fow. Bunch of boats were in tight to the windmills, not sure how they did. Didn’t see many people moving rods. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
