  5. I don't fish for Walleye to get a good fight. Just for the good eating. If I want a fight, I go for Salmon on Ontario. Leadcore has done better for me than dipsey and divers. I use 27 lb leadcore on the same rods I use for Salmon. Sent from my moto z3 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

  9. Tried to fish yesterday out of SBH. Both NOAA and the Windy App forecasts said 2 feet or less. Went out of the South gap and had to come back in. Waves were 5 feet. Ridiculous. This happened a couple weeks ago. Oh, and the ice boom camera is also useless. Resolution is so poor. It looked smooth. NOT. Sent from my moto z3 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

  14. Planning a trip in a week or two and will fish out of the North East Marina launch. What winds do I need to avoid? I just have a 17 foot tiller boat with a 50HP Honda. I'm retired and will watch the weather for the best possible days, and I'd rather fish Monday to Thursday. I fished the lake last August and only got out one morning and one afternoon due to the winds. Never trust a weather report! Thanks!
