Spectrum17 Posted July 8, 2016 Report Share Posted July 8, 2016 Well we finally made it out of port this weekend and the lake was flat, maybe a little too flat. Tried perch fishing for about 3 hours, moved a few times and nothing. Not even a bite. Sure seems odd for this time of year?? Anyway gave up on that and headed out to deeper water. Hit 40fow and sent down the riggers, and dipsys. Less then 5 mins later off pops one rigger (gold color redfin) down 30 over 44. Hand the rod to my boy and up comes the first of hopefully many to come this summer. Gotta love lake erie gold!!
