  1. That's a complete crock of bs. I catch 95% of my walleye off a dipsy Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  2. Sorry looks like a huge goldeneye shiner to me. Doesn't have the lips of a whitefish. Could also be what we call Sisco up here?? Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  3. Yes sir totally agreed. We hit the lake every weekend and the fish haven't even really moved into our area yet, soon I hope though. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  4. A beauty morn to fish today, too bad my youngest had to eat everything in sight and make himself sick about an hour and half into our trip. We headed straight out of port into 54 fow worm harnesses down 20ft on the riggers and redfins on the dipsys. Only action we seen was a nice little eater walleye about 3 lbs and the the chumming began. Actually the little bugger hurled all over my pail of worms so I really wasn't into putting another on the hook anyway. Oh well got enough for supper and made it home safe to play another day. Cheers all and tight lines!!! Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  5. Well we finally made it out of port this weekend and the lake was flat, maybe a little too flat. Tried perch fishing for about 3 hours, moved a few times and nothing. Not even a bite. Sure seems odd for this time of year?? Anyway gave up on that and headed out to deeper water. Hit 40fow and sent down the riggers, and dipsys. Less then 5 mins later off pops one rigger (gold color redfin) down 30 over 44. Hand the rod to my boy and up comes the first of hopefully many to come this summer. Gotta love lake erie gold!! Just under 10lb made his day for sure Sorry can't figure out how to post the damn pictures Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  6. Thanks. Yup Mike took me along to their tournament and was an amazing experience seeing that competitive type of fishing and how knowledgeable those guys all are. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  7. Lake erie walleye use a blue dipsy with the black dots Uv inhanced. It's honestly the first and alot of days the only one that keeps firing. That along with a black and silver spoon and your set. No snubbers for me, drag just loose enough it's not slipping while trolling
  8. Hey everyone spectrum17 here from ontario canada. I had never herd of this forum until this past weekend when I luckily got the opportunity to do some prefishing aboard the yankee troller before there spring king of kings tournament on lake ontario. I have to say what a great bunch of guys. Rick Craig Gerry Josh and Jeff you are all top class in my books!! (Eat a bit too much though) anyways I told Gerry I'd get on this forum and here I am. We haven't really started our walleye fishing yet, lake is still too cold in our end and the fish haven't moved in. Hopefully in another week or 2 we will be on the fish and the posts will be a regular thing here. Wish you all well and hopefully there are some tightlines somewhere as I'm about to start another long shift at work. Cheers all!!
