  1. Fished straight out from Sturgeon Point today from 2 til 9 pm in 62 to 64 fow near the line. Plenty of good screens and marks. Only caught 3 eyes. All on harnesses. Spoke to a few guys who also had a hard time getting them to bite. Counted 29 boats at one point.
  2. Monday's forecast changed for the worse since yesterday and now there is chance of thunderstorms through Thursday. Hopefully there is some fishable days in there somewhere. No go on Monday for me now. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  3. I have not seen it. How deep is the water by it? Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  4. The Buoy is owned and operated by Canada and in Canadian water I think.
  5. Nice job ws6rufus!! Thanks for sharing.
  6. Sounds good. Let's hope the big migration settles in for the summer feed!!
  7. Was planning on heading west to fish between 65 to 75 fow. Probably next attempt will be Monday or Tuesday now.
  8. I had planned to go last Tuesday but a change of plans kept me from fishing. Never got out.
  9. They are sold in many bait shops along the east coast and Hudson River during the stripped bass season. Pretty expensive compared to crawlers and messy when you put them on the hook. I think that is where the name comes from.
  10. Awsome job. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Thanks for clarifying. I am going out of SP.
  12. West of Sturgeon? Going tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  13. This was supposed to be a banner season. Still early but almost mid July.
  14. It will be interesting to see how this week goes. I plan on trying Tuesday I think. Will report back.
  15. I wonder what the oxygen levels are in the water column when it gets [emoji848] this warm? Maybe something is changing with that. Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  16. Awesome job. Are you a charter Ckawski? My Dad is older. Thinking about a day trip where I can focus on him and not all the other things needed on an outing.
  17. Looks like some unsettled weather coming thru the weekend. Hopefully when it settles early next week the fish will be ready and willing to bite. Keep trying Milt. My last time out was not a good day as well. No walleye. I know they will be congregating and turn on soon. I like hand drifting harnesses with bottom bouncers when the wind is around 10 to 15 mph. That gives me about 1 to 1.2 mph. If trolling sticks and spoons you probably want to be at 1.8 to 2.2 mph? It is fun to change things up until you find the sweet spot for them. Good luck.
  18. Hi Rookie, are you marking very many fish where you are fishing? If you do not see many marks keep looking for them. I won't fish an area if I am not marking fish.
  19. Awesome fish Rvan. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Might work but night crawlers are easier to get and keep, less expensive and they work. I have fished with blood worms for stripers on the hudson but have no desire to try them for walleye. If you have them already why not try them and report back.
  21. Great 👍 job Ckawski. Nice looking board.
  22. The "buck moon" is going full on July 4th. That might trigger a monster bite?
