  1. Sting nose work good it just depends on the fish. we had real good success with the smaller ones for perch also. I stock the sting nose also. We will have them at the Hamburg show.
  2. I don't think Evangola would be the spot in my opinion its too close to the Catt. and would need a substantial break wall there. It would be a nightmare to put a boat on the trailer in the wind there with out a break wall. Either near Point breeze in the bay to block the wind, or I have always said in 18 mile creek off old lake shore rd. would be a good spot if the creek was deep enough to support navigation. I do like the Woodlawn state park idea but the same issue of needing a wall.
  3. I can get them call me after 3 on Thursday or Friday or anytime Saturday or sunday. 7167965372.

  9. Stop up to the Ultimate Outdoors of WNY booth at the Western New York Sport and Travel Expo in Hamburg march 9-12, and I can sit down and go over lead core presentations with you. 75% of our program is lead core for all tournaments and charters. we run Woodstock and and some Blood Run lead core. I don't necessarily buy into the whole stealth core thinking, as we run 50 to 75 foot leaders on our leadcore lines. I'm thinking the fish aren't seeing the lead core anyways so no need for a "camo" presentation. 99% of the fish we catch on the Water Wolf underwater camera come in from behind the bait. Out of hundreds of hours of footage we have, 1 fish and 1 fish only came in from the front. I don't run fluorocarbon either just 15 lb Berkley big game. Our numbers don't really change with either line, so no reason in my opinion to spend the money on the flouro. Not to mention that it isn't as invisible as most people think it is. This pic is from 130 feet of water off Vanbueren reef fishing for Lake Trout. This leader is 15lb 100% fluorocarbon Seagur in the red box. So you can form your own opinion on the flouro debate.
  10. Use the Torpedo Diver #2 ball bearing snap swivel they have 2 ball bearings in them. Even if the harnesses you buy do have swivels on them you should use a quality Ball Bearing Snap Swivel with them. I never run a swivel on my harnesses. I always use the torpedo snap swivels and have for many years, the snap on the torpedo snap swivels will never open on their own. Also these snap swivels have welded rings not split rings. A high quality ball bearing snap swivel is a must when pulling harnesses. contact me if you want some of these snap swivels I have many in stock.
