  2. Hi. Well, I used to buy a scope for streaming with a night-vision mode. This item is really overpriced, but the efficiency just awesome . What kind of optics you want to buy? What about a thermal rifle scope like this? Pretty nice one.
  3. Well that`s another nice one idea, I appreciate this
  4. Hello there! I`m gonna hunt with old mates in the northern forests, I`ve got another scope, but I have to buy a new one, could you advise me some of? Thank you!

  12. Rig your pole with a half ounce or3/8 oz sinker, 20# braid and 3 snelled #4 or #6 Eagle Claw hooks from Wal Mart. Tie the hooks direct to the braid line. They are more sensitive to light bites or perch just mouthing the minnows. Swivel snaps, spreaders and other contraptions with heavy sinkers are not sensitive to many perch bites. Set the hooks 4 inches to up to 4 foot above the sinker. Most important is to use only one rod, you catch more perch with one rod since you are not wasting minnows with rods you watch and rebaiting them. Holding your rod is more productive since watching a rod for bites results in missing too many perch bites. Three or more guys in the boat with a lot of bait under the boat hold more traveling schools there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  13. I only camp at lake erie state park its good place to go
  14. I've seen them since the late 80's......... nothing new, and nothing to worry about.
  15. I fish out of Dunkirk and I did notice what looked to be long stringy tapeworms from some of the fish. Fish were all healthy and fat so meat looked good. I noticed it more when I disposed of guts (grinder wasn’t working then) then when I was filleting. Pretty sure I’ve seen it some in the past. Going forward I’ll pay closer attention to it. Agree that if meat is cooked properly not an issue.
  16. I have not experienced that. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App

  18. Just an fyi... I had a number of long white tape worms coming out of one of the eyes that I filleted. I looked it up on line and they are not supposed to be a health issue as long as you cook the meat thoroughly. It was the first time I observed them on any walleye or other fish. There were some coming out of the mouth and a bunch in the cooler that had already left the fish. They abandon the fish when it dies from the article I read. Anyone else seeing them?

  22. Fishing mainly walleye out of Walnut creek and Lampey marinas in PA finding tons of walleye in 30-40', but have caught some in 20-25 including some big ones. We fish harnesses on bottom bouncers and inline weights. alot more fun than downriggers and dipsys. trolling slow at 1.4, - 1 oz inline weights 30'-50' back on planer boards are working really well, bouncers are on the bottom with butterfly blades doing best. some spots cannot keep 6 rods in the water! walleye color blade, rainbow trout with silver beads, If you want to do the charter boat thing and drag spoons and limit out in an hour go for it, you want to enjoy fishing and feel the bite and the fish use worms!! tight lines
  23. Good going jimski. Where did you launch from? Yesterday I fished out of the Catt, I struggled to get 15. A couple of the boats I talked with were boxed out and said you needed emeralds. I only had small goldies. I'm traveling from Batavia area, where can i get some emeralds along the way
