    The yellow perch has done a good job avoiding me this year. This time I didn't the have perch gear ready to go and I was bass fishing. I was seeing some of the bigger ones moving into the back bays of Lake Erie last Saturday. The one looked like a giant. Might be time to start thinking about ice fishing.     I tried the rubberized coat on a smaller boat once, worked fine but got pretty hot in the sun. Biggest thing is keeping the plywood sealed. I got into that “fix everything at once” mood after a good experience with emersonproservices.com, so the boat floor ended up on the list too.
