  2. Left the launch at Catt 8:30am took some first timers to Erie with me today. Stopped took a peak at 60 and 65 fow not much on the screen and ice cold temps down 40' drove out setup in 75 fow on a NW troll and from 80 to 90 fow it was lights out 🔥 pulled rods 1130am with a 3 man small sticks, small spoons and worm burner's. 3 colors 5 colors divers out 65 to 70 on a 2.5 setting riggers 30 to 40 down. Picture of best stick below painted up from Zach Baker.
  3. Haven't been out in a couple weeks. Appears bottom bouncing with harnesses are no longer working. Also seems west of the Catt and especially west of Buffalo are best. Last day of getting out before back to work. Any other suggestions?
  4. Today
  5. OR A LONG LONG LINE AND S TROLL. STICKS OR WORM HARNESSES?
  6. Absolute walleye slaughter out in 185fow targeting steelhead rn lol. I think there’s just too many eyes at this point. Over 35 eyes on spoons and dipseys
  7. I scouted inshore a little bit, once I saw the temps I knew to run out deep. Baits placed approx. 17-24 down. Need boards when your running that high
  8. THANK YOU HAD A FRIEND OF FRIEND GO OUT THE CATT AND THEY FISHED 62 FT- 95 FT GOT ONE FISH! HE'S A GOOD FISHERMAN TO GUESS YOU FOUND THEM HE DIDN'T.
  9. Launched from the Catt but headed quite a bit west basically infront of Dunkirk
  10. GREAT JOB OUT OF WHAT PORT?
  11. Fished offshore and deep today, fish were a bit more scattered then they have been. Everything was 20-30 down over 85-90. Full spread of 2oz snap weights and boards absolutely crushed them
  12. Yesterday
  13. When Erie rolls over move out to 100 ft water find a warm water spot and pound the top 20 to 30ft down. Sent from my SM-S911U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  14. Last week
  15. I posted this to the sister board, LOU, but will try here as well. I’m looking for a Daiwa Sealine Forty Seven line counter, the older black and gold style. The one I’m replacing was like the attached pic. Let me know if you might have one. Thanks.
  16. Heavy north east winds the next few days will definitely stir the pot
  17. THX, I WONDER WHAT THIS COLD FRONT WILL DO THE BEST FISH'N I'VE SEEN N 13 YEARS!!
  18. I use the bottom bouncers with the wire. I’ll tie my harnesses 6-8’ off that. And if I’m using cranks or spoons I’ll tie a liter off the bouncer about the same length. As long as you can go with still being able to net fish
  19. TILLER HOW LONG A LEADER DO YOU USE ON BB 3 WAY SWIVEL FOR CRANKS??
  20. Fished Barcelona tonight. Made the mistake of assuming with the warm water the fish would be deeper. Started at 90 fow and trolled in. Got a couple in deeper water but once we got to about 70 we were in them and it was a quick two man limit. All worm harnesses on lead, down riggers and bottom bouncer. All caught fish but they favored the downriggers tonight.
  21. Back to yesterday’s spot in the low 70s. Set up at 7pm had 12; 15-16” in less then 40 minutes. Fished till about 845 total was 23 landed with a good mix of size classes. Cranks on bb’s outdid harnesses today.
  22. I HAVEN'T FISHED THE SBH IN TW0 YEARS LONG HAUL TO 60 FT FROM SBH CLOSER TO STURGEON PONT. I'VE SEEN A FEW YEARS OUT OF 12 THAT THEY STAYED THERE ALL YEAR LONG BUT THAT'S EXCEPTION NOT THE RULE. IF ANYONE WANTS TO KNOW THE BUFFALO SKYWAY WILL NEVER OPEN AGAIN IT'S BEING DEMOLISHED AND WILL BE MADE INTO A PARK THAT'S WHAT I READ INLINE TODAY!
  23. Wow thought temps would have driven them west. Good deal Sent from my SM-G781V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  24. I always use the trolling for steering and a little speed boost. Yesterday was 4 lines I don’t even bother with planers when the action is that good. Speed 1.5-1.8
  25. Tiller, did you drift with the wind or motor assisted? Sounds like a great day. I love rod in had bottom bouncing.
  26. After several similar trips fishing offshore and east of the Catt. Decided to head west, 73 drifting into 65. It started hot and heavy right off the bat. Nonstop fast action, 5oz bb not even letting it hit bottom once as the fish were suspended about 45-50 down. Green harnesses and even a few sticks sent out there today. 18 in less then 45 minutes. Kept our 12 and headed back early to fillet and have a fire.
  27. GOT 15 IN 1 HR 15 MIN TODAY OUT OF THE SBH 60FT! THREW 3 BACK.
  28. I have no idea why the code is there. Maybe because I put my phone number on the post. Anyway fished out of Dunkirk and boxed eighteen in two hours. Eighty to Ninety feet of water. Lost my net It was a black and red expandable with rubber netting. Will give a reward if someone finds it. Brian Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
