  3. Been a while since I post on here but haven't been fishing much this year. Fished out of buffalo yesterday noon to 7pm, tough fishing with wind/waves. Finished with 10 and one 29.5 inches. Couldnt weight in yet because everything was closed. Fished cranks and harness, both did about the same. Fish seem scattered scattered but seem best around 30-40ft. A lot of throwback, a dozen or so. Heading to Dunkirk today. Sent from my SM-S926U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  4. Found some today out of Buffalo it was rough. Didn’t mark many but caught a couple weighers for the Derby and plenty to eat. Harnesses were the ticket for us but heard good reports on sticks as well. Tight lines. Still searching for the elusive 10lb’r!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

  9. that I am not sure of, I am not sure when they started with this mounting system but believe it’s newer than 2004. They recess into the side rail of the gunnel.
  10. Fished out of the Catt yesterday from noon to 8. Trolled stick and harness. 1 white bass and 1, 13.5 inch perch. Lake was flat and calm. Best marks were in 35 to 38 feet early and 60 feet later on. They didn't want to eat. Only a couple other boats out. Got as far west as Dunkirk. I think I will wait awhile before going again. Hats off to everyone who caught nice catches in the tournament last weekend.
  11. Will these fit any Crestliner? I have a 2004 model 2050 thanks Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  12. 6 used crestliner sure mount gunnel brackets $150. Original price from Crestliner Set of 2 are $95
  13. Was planning to camp in Orchard Park and fish out of Buffalo Harbor this weekend. However, it looks to be 16mph wind west to east. That would blow me off my home Lake Ontario waters. Thoughts? I run an 18 foot Tracker. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  14. Electric motors and batterys are a better investment with gasoline for your outboard that will get you safely onshore in a sudden blow.
  15. Out last night until 10p. Very very slow for us. Couple wallies couple smallies, tried 20-40fow best was 35fow. Bunch of boats were in tight to the windmills, not sure how they did. Didn’t see many people moving rods. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  16. With fourteen years experience as a commercial fisherman, mainly for walleye, our nets were never set on the bottom as too many non target fish were involved. All our nets were set about ten feet from the surface to avoid outboard and boat tangles with surface buoys. The main target of walleyes were smelt, perch and small walleyes for their feed. Lures for like these fish work best for suspended walleyes. Walleyes are everywhere inthe lake where water temperatures are not too high. Also disolved oxygem results are low on the bottom during mid summer heat.
  17. Just got back from a night trip. NOAA called for 1 foot during day Friday settling to under 1 foot over night. At dusk there were 2-3 for rollers, within an hour it built to 3-4s. We stayed inside as I have a tiller and my guest did not have full rain gear. Those that were on the lake averaged 2-4 from what I heard.
  18. I went out solo yesterday early. Managed four keepers and lost two others before wind got too strong, and ran out of worms! Caught a bunch of perch, white perch, and sheep head which is why I ran out of worms.
  19. Almost went out last night after looking at the wind finder, glad I did not go. Thanks for the update
  20. We were out there for a while trolling around the break walls. Weather man and wind finder all very very wrong! Hahahaha Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
  21. We tried to go last night freaking weather man screwed us big time it was supposed to be one foot or less light winds out of the North... However reality was 3 foot waves wind ripping out of the straight West. We mark some by the windmills we made it down to Hamburg make one Is pass and the crew turnd green. 22. The City of Dunkirk and Primitive Patriot Outdoors are proud to announce the first annual Dunkirk Walleye Festival taking place on May 31 through June 2 on the city pier. Sent from my SM-S911U using Lake Erie United Mobile App
