    Out today for a few hours 4-7. Got one in 34' on a harness. Nothing else. Swells were significantly present to say the least lol.

    Our Federal Government spends Millions of dollars maintaining a safe from high winds a useful safe haven for ships and recreational boats for for public uses and the wasting access areas along the unused Union Ship Canal Waterway for boating, docking and launching boats and parking their vehicles. Let us return these areas nearby to public use. The Iron and Steel Plants have abandoned this area and even worse so have our public agencies. As a public area with park development it would enhance the value of homes and business.Miami Beach as an example as Million dollar homes with million mile views and employee travel times for families. Look the smoke, dust and dirt are gone today and local business would have nearby homesites available. Public power, potable water supply and electric services are here. Sanitary services are close by with buildable homesites available Five minutes from downtown is here now. Buffalo City Tax base will increase with new homes as both sides of the Canal are in City limits. Are our political elected leaders blind to opportunity here in our front yard.

    Access to Eastern Lake Erie walleye and yellow perch catches was successful from the vacant Union Ship Canal. Our Blue Pike catches were successful from off the Crystal Beach Site in 55 foot of water which is god all along the Canadian shorelines. Southern Erie County boayers will use it since the. It is a long drive to the Cattaraugus and Dunkirk ramps. Sturgeon Point Boat Ramps are always unavailable early to due, Sand siltation condiions. Permannent floating boat docks at the Union Ship Canal are available during high winds and high water levels. The small Boat Harbor Docks are jammed all the time so your boating times are enhanced.

    I fished walleye gill nets for fourteen years on mainly Eastern Lake Erie. Never were they set on bottom depths to avoid non target fish and their damage to the monofilament threads. Our nets were always canned up to take suspended walleyes from near surface and closer to the surface and away from bottom depths. We used side planers on Lake Ontario and found that Lake Erie had plenty of non bottom walleyes to take. Snap weights for our stick baits brought the lures highly successful and avoided lead core lines as they wasted a lot of time reeling in an extra 100 yards of line.     Not only home insurance losses but boat and vehicle losses due to floodwaters destroying cars, boats and and resales prices.

    Night fishing out on Chautauqua Lake with stickbaits produced s near shorelines with walleyes and a couple muskellunge. Calm waters at Mayville were easily fished on open season night.

    Day program is starting up, awesome bite in 30-34fow. Bottom bouncers with harnesses and sticks with snap weights both took fish. Got a handful of bonus smallmouth, sheephead, white perch and even lost two steelhead boat side

    I just sold a couple to a gentleman in Michigan and he was 15 miles further away than where you are located. USPS was $14 so it should be about the same. I have two starboard boards remaining if you are interested in them.

    Our Power Plant Dirty Air? Clean Air is in the future. After decades of tornadoes, hurricanes and floods in Southern States of the USA which we are paying for resulting from our demand to heat, air condition and power demands. Whether you are against wind mills and solar power you must wake up as your home insurance costs are a result of dirty air produced for global warming.
