Puking Dog Posted April 24, 2017 Report Share Posted April 24, 2017 If you don't have a high quality ball bearing on your line or on the leader, you will wind up the line on your reel until it's scrap. I usually have a large ball bearing snap swivel on my pole so I can attach jets, dipsey's, spin doctors or harnesses. I tie round ended duo snaps on both ends of my fluorocarbon leaders, but sometimes cut one off if I'm going for a stealthy stick bait presentation and tie the stick on direct. Harness use on Erie is getting tough to do if there are too many silver bass in the area.
