mostlymuskies Posted May 22, 2016 Report Share Posted May 22, 2016 We fished Honeoye Lake on Friday for Crappie.We only caught 3 Crappie,but did catch 100's of Bluegills, Rock Bass, Perch and an ocasional Largemouth Bass using Crappie Stingers in black & chartreuse and slip bobber.Looks like the lake needs another week to set up the fish in shallow around the docks, even 8 ft water was slow. Lures with a twist Posted May 23, 2016 Report Share Posted May 23, 2016 They should be on fire on honeoye right now but I think all the cold snaps messed them all up so they came in fast and went back out fast! We did really good on them for a few weeks. There still in there it's just not hot and heavy like it should be this time of the year.
