Just recently purchased marine radio for my boat and looking for advice on antennas. Looking to go as small as possible but still have decent reception. I bought a Uniden UM380. I purchased it from Amazon which at the bottom of page said customers also purchased this antenna to go with it. It looked decent but had a connector for an antenna for a car stereo. Not the PL-259 plug style. Any help would be awesome. I'm new to this marine radio stuff. Thanks guys Greg Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Great news! I was thinking about buying a Off Shore weight set. chascurt Let me know how you do. My charter trip is first weekend of June but I might head over with my boat before then to check it out. Good luck! Greg Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Just wondered since I'm new at this planer board thing what terminal tackle swivel snaps weights etc everyone is using. I have 6 trolling rigs now 3 with 20lb mono that came on them and 3 with 10lb Berkley XT. I haven't tried and super line stuff yet some I'm assuming that the mono will get me started. For now I'm just running two boards off side and probably two flat lines off back. Thanks for your replies! Greg Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
I have the app which is awesome. Although having a printed version in your boat would be cool too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
I have bought from them several times and had great service, price and shipping. When my local bait store doesn't have Fish USA usually comes through. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Yes the overtime helps with the toys. There is just no way of telling when I'm going to get it. I am about finished with ice fishing after the last two seasons were not productive for me or the ice. Some times I think about unloading all of it cause that would would give me a big bag of cash for stuff for the boat not to mention clean out the garage some. The big expense for me this year will be a new roof. That will be a big bite in the wallet. I still did good over the winter picking up some trolling gear which was a must for me. Good luck this 2017 season everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
