Looking for SD card for Lowrance H2Oc handheld GPS. I mainly want map of Erie but would be interested in cards with Indiana, Michigan or Ohio lake on it too. i just found used one without the card.
Thanks
Greg
Thanks for the advice. It just seems overwhelming. I am on a job right now and have an electrician getting me the stuff for the wiring. 6g wire I believe is what it is calling for. I am also looking for a battery tray to run batteries online and not side by side. I think I have to keep batteries where mine is located now cause I’m not sure the charging leads will make it farther forward where I thought about moving it to. Right now my boat is in the winter catch all position so I need to empty it and start laying stuff out and see how it all lays out. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
Look for advice on changing up a trolling motor to 24V. I have been running 12V Minn Kota Power Drive 40lb . The new I purchased is a 24V Minn Kota Terrova 80lb. Everything I have read and watched tells me I need to upgrade wiring ad breaker. Wire fish finders to the starting battery. I also purchased a 3 bank charger that I will also need to install. I think it would be worth it cause everything added in future would would be added for no charge. It really comes down to how much you use it. They are great people to deal with and ask questions Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
I have a 16’ Deep V and realize I need to pick and choose the correct days. I might even have days where I have to turn around and come home. Drift bags are also on my list. I was thinking 2 - 50” Any thoughts?
Thank you. I have boat but have not had it on Erie yet. I’m still finishing rigging it for Erie. I still have radio to install and buy antenna mount and antenna. I also still need to pick up a flare gun. I’m more than willing to try it but I know safety is number one and I wouldn’t want to risk it over some fish. I will also have to watch forecast for winds cause I would not be into the large wave days at all with my small boat. Also is there an app or forecast.com for Erie that you guys use?
Thanks
New to the whole Lake Erie Walleye thing and wondered if you could go out during the run and jig in the bay for them instead of standing arm in arm in the river. It would still be a single hook rule with the 4 fish limit also. Just wondered how many of you try this and how far away you have to launch a boat from.
Thanks Greg
They are supposed to open back up here this spring. Not sure they can make it the second time around or not. We have a very nice bait store down the street from this location that is very well stocked. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United
