  1. Cowlings, trim assembly, Engine Cover, carbs, reeds, intake cover, flywheel. Everything in the photos. I got a deal from another member on the complete outboard, tell me what you need and make an offer. Happy to pass along a good deal and pay it forward. Thanks to fishsteelers on LOU for encouraging me to take the whole outboard, the parts I used off of it saved my season.

  2. Great job Whitecap1, good to see you found some and not to deep either. How deep was the water by the marina opening? Did you get a reading? Thanks. Gonna go out Tuesday or Wednesday.

I stopped by SP today and grabbed my boat for the tournament out of Dunkirk this weekend. Took a peak at the harbor exit and sand has visibly built up more that last week. I would have to turn right and then go straight prior to heading out into the lake. Go slow, trim up and hopefully you’ll have enough visibility to find safe passage.

  3. Fished Thursday out of SP a little west but to the line in 70’. Tried drifting with bottom bouncers. Never moved a rod, screen looked good but.......

The exit of the Marina is filling back in so if you launch be sure to pay attention to both sides. Returning to port at night might be tough.

  4. My vessel is down for repairs so I haven’t been out in a while. Years past early July and warm temps I have done well around late evening leading up to sunset in 65FOW west of SP. run 5,6,7 colors and target the thermocline if it has setup. Tight lines, hope to be back out there soon!

  5. Launched out of SP mid day yesterday. Headed toward Catt Creek and trolled back. Ran 5 colors, 3 colors, long lines, downriggers and tried a dipsey for a short while. Marks were everywhere from 55-60fow, lots of perch schooled on the bottom in 55. Only boated 1 walleye and 2 sheep’s before we came in around 6p. We had planned to head back out after picking up another friend but the shift linkage broke on approach to the dock with the boat stuck in forward. Thankfully we were able to stop it with out assistance from the ground, I didn’t recognize it was stuck in gear until after we had it stopped. Interesting moment to say the least.
