HaHa ...  Gotta be on a budget specially if the woman's looking I would say try to find some used 47 lc's  aka daiwa line    counters for 10 color lead  .. Try LOU or craigslist or ebay  only because after you find a good depth you don't have to watch the colors every time you reset !! Saturday Barcelona .. Ran out to 58 ft turned west started setting up got 3 rods in and took a 25 incher on 6 colors and a black and silver bay rat  thought it was going to be a great day !!! Everyone we talked to did about the same 1 eye if you got lucky i'm sure a few  guys did well but for the most part it was slow

While we are on the subject do you run snubbers on your dipseys what Ib test and how long of a lead ? Thanks Paul

Minn Kota only have two model's ( terrarova and ulterra ) with the anchor feature ? Do they have to be linked to a fishfinder to hold bottom

Hello I am looking for a used trolling motor being a lake o guy I never had a need for one and know very little about them.. after perching on lake erie my first  time this year I want a trolling  motor that has the anchor feature I don't really care what other features it has (didn't feel right pulling into a pack of boats and dropping anchor) so with that said I would like to know what models have the feature I know I need the I-pilot do I also need this hooked up to a fishfinder? i'm running a 19 foot creastliner with  90 hp and 9.9 kicker and 2 fat guys so there is a bit of weight lol ... Id go in a heartbeat if my boat was done....no playing for me till my boat is in the water. I snuck out yesterday for a brown trout and got a quick fix...wish trout tasted like walleye!

Justin I was going to shoot you a text but didn't think you would want to go for perch !! Your high on the list for walleye its not often you get a forecast like this one

I'm shook out and ready to roll Mike ... called everyone I know to go to Erie for perch forecast is one foot or less all weekend and not one taker !!! I wish someone would call me and say hay man lets go to Erie for perch i'll drive .. you would think I asked them to go to the moon OH THATS TO FAR THEY SAY   one clown said call me the next time yeah ok this was your shot buddy ... wow thought I was over it (guess not) sorry pap your post struck a nerve I wasn't angry until I started this reply now i'm ready to kick the cat.. Hello  fishman930 Thanks for your response I would like to answer your question and i'm sure someone will if you start a new post it may have gotten lost in this one  !!  This will be my 1st year fishing Erie.. but you have reminded me of something that has been bugging me for some time most people don't think very highly of silver bass and I know there not as good as  walleye but I find it hard to believe there not at least as good as a largemouth my understanding is they have some dark meat have you or anyone else on this site ever tried them ?
