    I just drove by Dunkirk Launch and only seen 4 boat trailers.Stopped at Barcelona Harbor and about 8 boat trailers. Talked to the Harbor Master he said most boats returning from the lake only had 3 to 4 walleyes! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

    One thing to remember there are also joint task force Homeland Security boats on the Upper Niagara River & Lake Erie.The Canadian Coast Guard will have U.S. Homeland Security Officers on their vessel and U.S. Homeland Security will have Canadian Coast Guard Officers on their vessel.No Borders Anymore,Either Can Stop You in Canadian or U.S. waters or follow you a cross the line to intercept!     Off to Chautauqua Lake this Sunday for the first Muskie trip since July 4th.I had been leaving the Muskies alone because of high water temperatures up to 79 degrees.I'm hoping that temps have dropped below 75 degrees by now.Need to practice and get key locations down for the American Great Lakes Outdoors Writers Convention where we will take writers muskie fishing Thursday,Friday & Saturday next week.     The clutter around the downrigger ball red lines is slag dust in the water,taking away from a full fish arc signal.The arcs would normally be more pronounced with a little red at the center of the arc in only 28 ft of water. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

    Soon as you hit the open water it was gin clear and not much marking on the screen.Inside the Harbor in the South Gap were very large schools of emerald shiners as well,you could also see them breaking the surface as they rose up after dark.     I heard of one boat that caught 12 eyes yesterday west of Dunkirk in 75 ft of water was putting downrigger balls close to bottom and popping off NK28 Spoons in Watermelon color at 1.7 mph Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
