We have been trying to get a New Additional Launch on the Erie County end of Lake Erie for a number of years now! Just as hard as trying to get a Hatchery on the East end of Lake Erie . Politicians agree to talk to you on the subject around election time, then it goes no where. The latest the Politicians told me was you just got a New Boat Launch at the SBH,need to prove it can't handle the trailered boats that use it. monkeyman14554,I have nothing against Kayaks at all,I believe everyone has the right to enjoy our great waters. But just do not want to see anyone getting hurt or killed when it can be avoided with a little bit of safer practices on both sides, both boaters and paddle boaters. For one the imposed 10 mph speed limit in the Buffalo Outer Harbor because of the Kayaks is a big mistake at 10 mph my boat creates a 4 ft wake,at 25 mph no wake,so what is safer for the paddle boater wake or no wake!Like I said before a single white light when it is grouped with Buffalo City lights gets lost in the lighted background especially when the Kayak is so low profile they are very hard to see at night from short distances. Because the Buffalo River has been designated NY Inland Waters for funding for dredging & habitat restoration, could be possible to go after NY State for Safety Rules for Kayaks! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Even in Daylight Hours kayaks should have to have fiberglass whip orange flag 6 ft tall,so they do not get lost behind waves where you can't see them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
