  14. yellowpike,A friend told me he caught 7 eyes yesterday durring the day light hours in 15 to 20 ft water with 2 1/2 colors of Leadcore and Renoski's in Crystalina Natural Perch color at 1.7 mph somewhere off Smokes Creek working structure. 16. lineman49,The NY State Parks Dept Engineer's designed the Launch Ramp. They never would take any recommendations from the Safe Boat Harbor or from us on the E.C.F.A.B.,they just went ahead and built what they had in their plan. The biggest problem of all for them will be No Handicap Access! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  17. yellowpike, today I change over equipment in the boat to my Muskie gear.I do not want to do it in the rain tomorrow or Friday.I have Muskies over the weekend, then back to night Walleye Monday, then back to Chautauqua Lake for Muskies the rest of next week. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  18. lineman49,The Erie County Fishery Advisory Board will have a meeting/ demo at the Safe Boat Harbor Launch on June 2nd with the NY State Parks Dept yo address our concerns and changes that need to be made.Did you see all the black scoff tire marks on the curbs of the snake roads leading in and out,if your not exactlybin the middle of the roads path your boat trailer tires will hit the curb in many places, kinda narrow! 19. yellowpike,I took one look at the zoo and went to Donley's Wall. At least all 5 of us boats there trolled through the end of wall bar one by one turned out at the end of the run and ran back yo get in line again, working together smoothly! 20. Seamaster,I hate spell check, wish I could find out how to go back and correct spelling after you have posted! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  21. Remaster considering a slow day & night daytime was a little more productive yesterday.Bottom bouncing with 3-D worm harnesses in Copper/Orange thumper blade at 1.7 mph with electric trolling motor in 30 ft of water from Woodlawn Bar to Hamburg Beach & back.Current pull toward the river flowing SW,so best action was going SW against the slight current. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  22. Daytime was not to good yet,3 eyes & 5 smallmouth on copper/orange 3 D thumper blade harnesses.30 ft off Hamburg.Last night I did not get on the water until 10 pm.Went to Woodlawn Bar and it was a war zone with 30 to 40 boats, decided to turn back to Donley's Wall.Only 4 other boats there trolling. We did not do good there, only caught one eye.One friend in another boat had 3.We quit early it was so slow.At the SBH Launch talked to a few other guys returning and a lot had Zippo and the most I heard of was 3. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  23. I got the 1 ounce pencil sinkers from Capt Bob's Tackle on Route 5 on Clarence,NY. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  24. I had bad luck years back with using a trolling plate. In high waves and strong winds, the trolling plate got bent and twisted, this caused me lots of problems with boat control, pulling off to one side.Limped in riding waves. So if I can't get slow enough now I use drift socks tied off the bow cleats to get down to 1.5 mph on glass flat water days. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  25. If I limit out during the daylight hours,I will have to wait until after midnight to go back out,ha right! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
