I found clear water at river end of Donley's Wall yesterday afternoon. Caught only smallmouth bass up to dark. Never really marked many walleye there shallow and caught none.We quit early at 10:30 pm when East winds picked up and mixed mud water in to the area. There were 18 rigs parked when we came in,we talked to guys from 4 different boats all had Zippo Walleye! There were 18 rigs with boat trailers at the SBH when we came in at 10:30 pm.Talked to guys from 4 other boats they all caught nothing in the stained water.I only seen about 4 boats by Woodlawn Bar and 3 boats by Waverly Shoal, could not see where all the other boats went. yankmyline, the 50 ft water off the Cat is probably clean,West winds are pushing everything toward Buffalo and mixing brown line that was against the shore into main water of Lake Erie in front of Buffalo.East winds tonight will push it toward the middle and the river will carry the brown water out.Should clear up by tomorrow night. I just came along the Niagara River, all brown.Driving over the Skyway Bridge looking out on Lake Erie all brown water.Buffalo River brown water.Behind the Harbor Walls brown, maybe 2 to 3 ft visibility.Only clean water is Union Canal, back half of Coke Channel and Buffalo City Slip from General Mills to Sand Piles.I will have to consentrate on flatline trolling those area's for Walleye. I bottom bounce in 45 ft in to 25 ft water depths.I use dipsies and Gibbs weight with 7 colors of Leadcore to get down 50 ft.Only use downriggers when in 70 ft + water depths, usually balls 10 ft off bottom and 50 ft lead with spoons. Then run two inline boards off each side ,two 7 color Leadcore and two dipsies. The perch spawn is most likely 85 % done.Yes you can still catch perch, the school's are smaller and moving around. So you have to find them then move with them to stay on the bite.Could be anywhere from 52ft to 60ft from the Cat to Sturgeon Point. Not yet, still have to use the tight space launch docks by the office building! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Be extra careful when using launch ramp near the office building at Safe Boat Harbor, short distance between launch docks and new permanent docks. This also means you will have to make a sharp turn into the launch docks up in return in short space.Water is also right up to the top of the launch docks.
