    NE winds if over 20 mph coming across the lake usually upswells deeper water and pushes it toward shore on Cat side of the lake,middle of Lake Erie is still 42 degrees deep.     I got my boat towed to Hanover Launch this morning.Was about 8 boats out off the Cat in 52 ft of water,action was the slowest I have ever seen,4 perch in 4 hours.We moved to Evangola State Oatk area in 50 ft of water,more of the same 2 perch in 2 hours.Last try was off Sliver Creek in 53 ft of water 1 perch in 1 hour.I never seen anyone really catching any numbers of perch today,just all around very slow day.     When I'm trolling the end of the Long Wall I'm 15 ft off of it working structure edges of shipping channel,the whole channel is still wide open.Not blocking the channel.Boats for some reason believe they are going to get out to the lake faster by turning the corner right at the end of the wall,they can't use the other 300 ft of channel width in 25 to 30 ft of water?     They did the Transfer Case that had worn out bearings and stretched chain.Tourqe convertor is on the other side of the transmission where it connects to engine .But then again the Silverado 2500hd has 167,000 miles,I should have just sold it and purchased a new truck,but now will have over $3500 into it,so might as well drive it till it dies.     I'm missing more time,got transfer case rebuilt and then on the way back from Dunkirk yesterday Transmission went next tourqe converter cracked.Must have been what took out transfer case bearing in the first place.Will miss a few more days ,while they have the transmission out,having it rebuilt completely as well.I should have just purchased a new truck.     Also musky fishermen troll the South Gap.Sometimes right on the corner of the Long Wall and can come around the corner tight to structure. Why most boats that go around the corner of the South Gap Long Wall need to cut the corner as close to the end of the wall where they can't be seen until they are right on top of you is really an accident waiting to happen!
