    Yes I have done just that ,I use metal shower curtain clips,rubber band lead to clip ,hook on a 3 ounce sinker using snap above the shower clip to downrigger cable and send it down! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

    I will sometimes run out 10 ft lead,add 2 Ounce Gibbs Weight and 10 ft more leads then attach to downrigger and drop down 10 ft off bottom and harness will run a couple feet off bottom. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App

    But then again I bounce between Muskies,Walleyes,Perch & Crappie,so can get out of wind in small inland lakes,sheltered turns in Chautauqua Lake and Upper & Lower Niagara River!Rain top & side windows and trolling vs casting.z I only avoid Thunder!
