I personally do not think most of the sub legal size and up to 17 inch walleyes are all local fish and most will move West.Every October & November all the walleyes we catch around the Niagara headwaters & Buffalo Harbor are mostly of the 23 to 27 inch class. While working the Buffalo Pedal Tours Cycle Boat up the Buffalo River I noticed lots of bait fish and walleye hooks.I told a local friend,he fished it today and caught his limit trolling 2 colors of Leadcore with Bay Rats in Gobbie color at 1.8 mph. Yes I switched to that setup of bottom bouncing with 8 ounces in 90 ft of water using Flatfish so still had good action at 1.5 mph and used a stinger with piece of crawler off treble hook. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
