Hunter-Dan
Bert's VS Traxstech Hello, Im looking to upgrade my boat, 1. Are Bert's and Traxstech inter changeable ? 2. Is the quality the same? Prices seem close. Are there any dealers that carry the full line of options? Im just looking for opinions. Thanks Dan
Smoke-n-Finn
The Berts, Cannon, Traxtech all use tracks that are compatible with each other. Traxtech is what I would buy, if given the choice, better quality, the lifetime guarantee, just way more choices all around. Captain Crabbie
Check out muddy Creek tackle.com . A lot better quality. I have traxtech. I'm slowly switching to muddy creek. Better and less money. Tell them Captain Crabbie sent you.Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
scott neilly
Traxtech is good quality but there service is the worstSent from my XT1030 using Lake Erie United Mobile App
Captain Crabbie
Lots of rattling on traxtech adjustable downrigger bases. Thumb screws keep coming loose if you don't tighten them with pliers.Sent from my XT1585 using Lake Erie United Mobile App

Lightbringer
How are the mounting holes on the muddy creek tracks dimensioned? (center to center distance apart, and hole dia) Also, are the edges cleaned up nicely / smooth and chamfered/rounded? They look nice, but not too many pictures on their site - do you have a photo of your setup?
MW66
I had some wobble in one of my SB-3 downrigger risers and I sent that portion to Traxstech for repair. They sent me a new one free of charge and they paid for shipping back to me. That's pretty good!
Headshaker
The muddys are clean and tight, they will fit in your tracks no problem. Uou can sort of see mine here in the track.Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
