I did go on Monday 9/28... we fished from 9:30 till 4 pm. 3 rods (2 bouncers, 1 leadcore). Harnesses in 50 to 58 fow straight out of Catt. Caught 8 and lost several. 2 foot waves early and flattened out in afternoon. Slower due to NE winds but still a good trip. Got a 27.5 inch 6.25 pounder and a few 25's. I am going to try again next week. I am hearing of a few better catches again as things settle down. Good luck.

Out of the Catt today... 10am till 12:20... 3 man limit on 2 dipsy rods 80 to 87 fow on harnesses. Beautiful day out there. Parking lot was overflowing when we arrived.

Fished out of the Catt yesterday (Tuesday 6/24). Not many boats out for a nice day. Fished from 10 am till 2:30. Boated 10 walleye. 1 was short and released. Dropped another 6 or so on the fight. Fun day. Harnesses in 58 to 61 fow straight out. Tried deeper around 70 feet for awhile and bite was not as good for us there so finished back in 60 fow. Others we talked to did well earlier in the morning.

Fished Saturday 10/4 out of Catt. 10am until 2:30 pm. 2 rods with 8 oz bouncers and harnesses. 80 to 85 fow. Slow at first then steady pick then slowed again when wind from NW started. Finished with our 2 man limit. Nice day and may be last outing for 2025. Great season full of memories.

Got out of the Catt yesterday. Lines in at 11:30 and fished until 4:30. Bite was slower than recent trips. Found best marks trolling west in 82 fow. They were deep, 70 feet down to bottom. Figured them out with slower harness troll with dipsies out 210 to 225. Ended with 13 and lost about 5. Bigger fish than recent outings. Good luck.

Wednesday 9/3 out of the Catt... Fished straight out from 65 to 80 fow. 3 man limit of 18 on harnesses with 2 leadcores and an 8 oz bottom bouncer. Stopped trolling and caught final eye drifting a harness on a 2 oz bouncer with spin gear. Great day.

Went out of Sturgeon Point this morning out in front of Point Abino. Fished from 10:30 until 2:30 with my wife, son-in-law and 8 year old grandson. We caught our 4 person limit of 24 with 2 leadcores and an 8 oz bouncer rod. 60 to 65 fow. All nice eaters on harnesses. Memorable day for sure.

Planning to head out tomorrow. Any thoughts on what the last few days of wind and big waves will have done? Debating going out of Sturgeon towards the line versus the Catt... suggestions?
