Fished Saturday 10/4 out of Catt. 10am until 2:30 pm. 2 rods with 8 oz bouncers and harnesses. 80 to 85 fow. Slow at first then steady pick then slowed again when wind from NW started. Finished with our 2 man limit. Nice day and may be last outing for 2025. Great season full of memories.

Got out of the Catt yesterday. Lines in at 11:30 and fished until 4:30. Bite was slower than recent trips. Found best marks trolling west in 82 fow. They were deep, 70 feet down to bottom. Figured them out with slower harness troll with dipsies out 210 to 225. Ended with 13 and lost about 5. Bigger fish than recent outings. Good luck.

Wednesday 9/3 out of the Catt... Fished straight out from 65 to 80 fow. 3 man limit of 18 on harnesses with 2 leadcores and an 8 oz bottom bouncer. Stopped trolling and caught final eye drifting a harness on a 2 oz bouncer with spin gear. Great day.

Went out of Sturgeon Point this morning out in front of Point Abino. Fished from 10:30 until 2:30 with my wife, son-in-law and 8 year old grandson. We caught our 4 person limit of 24 with 2 leadcores and an 8 oz bouncer rod. 60 to 65 fow. All nice eaters on harnesses. Memorable day for sure.

Planning to head out tomorrow. Any thoughts on what the last few days of wind and big waves will have done? Debating going out of Sturgeon towards the line versus the Catt... suggestions?

Launched from Sturgeon Point. Fished from 9:30 till 12:30 in 60 to 65 fow with 2 rods. Ended with our 2 man limit. Best was a dipsy on 3 setting, 145 out and harness. Size ranged from 18 to 25 inches. Lost a really good one right at the boat. Like glass when we headed in.

I think most of the participants on this thread and forum welcome the discussion and sharing of helpful information. What was getting out of control in my opinion were the escalating negative exchanges. It feels better today 😊.

Before this thread there were reporting threads for each major port. Worked fine either way. Relax.

I agree with Dcra... the title of this particular thread is "Walleye Reports Eastern Basin 2025". Let's focus on fishing reports.

That sounds like the key factor in this discussion... the water may be very deep but they are biting in top third of that depth. Not a huge pressure change.

Tiller, did you drift with the wind or motor assisted? Sounds like a great day. I love rod in had bottom bouncing.
