Thanks I'll try this if I have them on my screen.

It's strange this summer isn't it? Last summer everyone was catching limits off cattauragus Creek, Dunkirk, etc. My screen was solid walleyes for miles, and hours of trolling. This year, reports are really not great. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks, we're going for Walleye on July 4. Just not sure if I should go to SBH, or drive down to the CATT. Reports seem to be hit or miss everywhere, nothing like last year whte everyone was pulling limits.

Thanks for keeping this page alive guys! My father in law who is my fishing buddy all summer, just arrive from Texas. We will be working on getting some walleyes now! I have mostly been solo fishing for salmon on LO.

Caught a 5 or 6 pounder this afternoon in 70 feet of water south of Nickle Beach, Port Colborne. I was fishing 6 feet off the bottom using watermelon colored crawler harness with green and black beads. This was the first walleye I caught using a Chamberlain Release. The line released and set the hooks the moment the walleye hit the crawler harness.
Yep, the Chamberlains are the best. I use them for both walleye and salmon

I went out of Sturgeon today boated two, dropped two and had the standard by catch. Spent most of the day in 48fow-56fow, not marking much. Shadow Raps took all our fish.
Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie UnitedSeems really slow so far. You would think it would be better. Last year in July we killed them off the CATT. My screen was solid fish while trolling for miles and hours. Now, very little. They are killing them in Cleveland.

I went off the windmills Sat June 9 from 3 to 5 PM. Only got one walleye. I trolled in 38 to 25 FOW. I used bottom bouncer, lead core, and dipsey diver, all with crawler harnesses. For me it has been a slow year so far both for walleye on erie, and salmon on Ontario. I see most posting are reporting the same, except for a few who say they limit out quickly. I think if you can find them you can do well, but theres a lot of water to cover. COTTONWOOD was terrible! Worse than the fleas on Ontario. I worry about them clogging up my motors.

Walleye are loaded in front of the windmills from the south gap all the way to the Ford plant. Bottom bouncing in 36'-38' of water got me an easy limit. I did throw a bunch of 14" fish back.
Great I hope to get out there Saturday.

Ok great. I am also disappointed that everyone ignored the disabled boaters. But, HOW WAS THE FISHING OUT OF SBH? Sounds like quite a few people are out, but only a couple have provided any reports. C'mon guys, there's lots of ways to help your fellow fishermen, giving a tow, and providing a fishing report are several. It helps those who are trying to plan a trip. Thanks in advance, and again Kudos to those who help others. The Golden rule!

5/25/2018. Fished from 0900 to Noon. One sheephead, one silver bass. Only saw two fish on my screen. Went from windmills and south, searched at 5 mph for one solid hour looking for fish on my screen. Nothing, no fish, no bait. Tried from 7 feet of water out to 35 FOW. Finally just put out the 7 color core, and a couple bottom bouncers with crawler harnesses. So where in the hell do all the Walleyes go? Had fantastic fishing out of Catt in July last year, and my screen was solid fish for 5 hours. Do I have to go way down there to catch walleyes? I thought I would try SBH because it is so much closer for me, but I must say I have never had any luck out of SBH. Kind of wondering what the deal is. Very few people posting any reports too, which does not help. I encourage everyone to help each other by posting a report, even if you don't catch. Lots of boats out there, saw only one fish caught in another boat, a smb. Thank You.

try cabelas off the I90 in NY, before you get to buffalo. Right after you go through the tolls. I just use my salmon rods. Heavy, but I'm going for the freezer not for the fight. Thats why I go for salmon/steelhead.

I have both big boards and inlines. I found the inlines are not sufficient for the 10 color lead, even with the modifications recommended by Blood Line. But, I just bought a Yellow Bird 12 inch inline, biggest one they make. I'm sure it will work. A little easier to deploy then the big board. I do like the yellow bird in lines. I also like the to put the Sam's Pro release on my boards, because they work with braids.

No it hasn't broken.....yet. I'm just worried now, that if it breaks, I lose it and the ability to control my lowrance autopilot.

Got to the ramp on the 4th at 0600 hours, backed the boat in, and found my winch handle WAS MISSING! What a bummer. Had to go to Cabelas and buy a new winch. So no fishing for me on the 4th. Now I have the handle chained to the trailer with a padlock. Don't know if it was stolen or fell off. There must have been 30 trailers at least there already at 0600. would have been a zoo anyways. I will try again tomorrow.
