The best place for another Boat Launch is the Union Canal off the South end of the Buffalo Harbor South Gap.Parking is already present,depth of water is 15 ft + all the way back and NY Route 5 would block high winds.I will be pushing for this through the Erie County Fishery Advisory Board! Also Anaconda's movement on land is very slow and they can only spring out about 3 feet to strike.Where you do not want to cross paths with one is in the water,where they can move rapidly.They like to wrap up there prey and suffocate them.   16. There have been a few 50" Fatties caught this past weekend in the Buffalo Harbor.I am now in the middle of the Guyana Rainforest on Esequibo River at my last WiFi connect. I will be out of contact until right before Christmas,headed 98 miles down the Rupinuni River and up the Rewa River with clients fishing.15 days this trip and then on January 2nd to February 23rd back in for the long haul.We should set at least a dozen IGFA World Records! Last night we trolled the South Gap,Center Gap,North Gap,Black Rock Channel and Buffalo River till 1 am.Water temp was 56.5 degrees ,back up a half of a degree.We did not see much of anything on the fish finder,no bait fish ,no bigger hooks and very few walleye.No hits all night.Water temp in the Lake same as behind the walls,no temp change to attract bait fish and predators.   23. Only managed a 35" muskie tonight rolling in Lake Erie outside the South Gap of Buffalo Harbor.Still 56 degree surface water temp,not much inside the walls,some bait fish in 36 to 38 ft of water. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  24. Last night water temp I. Harbor equalized with lake temperature at 56.5 degrees and all bait fish schools were gone.Night before it was 55.3 in Harbor and 56.1 in Lake.   25. Last night we did not Mark any bait fish or big hooks in South Gap, across the lake to North Gap and inside the Gap.Surface water temp was 56.8 degrees,yesterday it was 55.3 degrees.
