    old school trick tie a 5 gallon bucket off cleat & run off back of boat in addition to bags will slow you down more. Just down forget to bring in bucket before you power up!

    This depends on what you are pulling. I like the Church TX-22 boards for most applications. But of you are pulling jet divers or copper line I move up to the TX-44's

    I've heard about the "combat trolling" & "dock dances" that occur yearly. I have never fished Erie at night but fish walleye there regularly during the day time. I normally fish an inland lake in the spring at night but the stocking program was discontinued & fishing has really fallen off.

    Fishing shallow night time I'm new to Erie spring night fishing. I would appreciate input when it comes to the benefit of using an electric trolling motor as an alternative to a kicker or main motor. How much of an advantage is the stealthier presentation & do you feel it is worth the effort?

    We run 18 # leadcore with 50 ft of 12# flouro leader for walleye. 27# leadcore with 50 ft of 20# flouro leader for trout/salmon
