  1. All the larger boat owners who neglected the trailer boat operators trauma of grid locked boat ramps now will join the fight for good marina operation since the competition for dock space will happen. Cattaraugus Creek, Dunkirk and Barcelona will have premium costs and travel costs from Erie County to reach better summer Lake Erie fishing locations. Your County and New York State legislators will get some attention now from the better financed boaters. Also watch for lower prices on larger boats.
  2. Imaqine if you owned a waterfront home in the Town of Evans and dealing with a thirty mile round trip to put your boat in the water. Our Federal, State and County legislators have their heads up their behind.
  3. The women in the town want their men to stay home to paint and cut the grass.
  4. With record TAC walleye limits, the Ohio residents locked up their walleye catch to residents only till May 2021. New York has a season closing to protect spawning walleyes while the Lake Erie population of walleyes is at record levels now.
  5. Confirm Ohio regulations allow you to travel to fish there first before making plans to travel there .New Great Lakes regulations require similar rules amongst the local states. That is how our walleye limit was raised to six walleyes in possession. The New York Seasonal regulation does not fall into that plan. If Ohio fishermen are allowed to take fish in the spring, why are New York Fishermen prevented access to the fishery now. The protecting the spawn allegation does not hold up since the major spawning waters are in Ohio. The migration study showed the fish travel from there to here. I took a tagged walleye from Michigan's Feather River that traveled to Brocton Shoals in one hundred days.
  6. Deep holes occur at the railroad bridges above and below the bridge west side. my graph showed a depth of 16 foot of water there, It seems that would be a good spot to start fishing.
  7. You Tube and Bing vaults on your streaming site will out perform the shows that network TV have tried to control us with..
  8. Use the "You Tube" site for all the shows in their vaults.

  12. Lake Erie PerchFishing Bing More Videos
  13. Walleye suspend near the surface when the waters are between 55 and 65 degrees F. We canned up our gill nets then to find the yellow pike without dealing with bottom fish like suckers and sheep head. Near shore fishing in the same depths when the preferred water temperature is there is why bottom bouncers work near shore.
  14. In June a lot of large catfish show up there to spawn in the warmer than the lake waters
  15. Those fellows are not up to communicating with hook and line fishermen. Seems you are always pressuring the fish managers to screw up their jobs.
  16. Resulting from the restaurant shutdowns from the virus crisis the market for walleye sales collapsed. Sport fishing catch rates should increase this year.
  17. Cruise Ships sailing from USA ports to Alaska again are banned. This takes a big financial hit to Alaskan tourism. Hotels are available to airline passengers but quarantine rules are enforced.
  18. With the ten person rule at a table allow meetings to resume?
  19. With the lack of ice on the Lake this year, search out shore fishing spots to catch some perch or walleyes now.
  20. Thousands of walleyes are taken by shore casters in the Niagara River all winter long. The hot lure sold at Cabela's in the winter is the Rapala deep husky jerk lure. The head of the river is fished all Fall and winter long when the ice stops it. In my younger days we fished there till the spray iced the windshield up.
  21. With open waters again the Ohio walleye season will be open to New York fishermen shut off from walleye fishing to protect spawning walleye here in new York.
