    9/29 went out of the catt again. Same program as yesterday with some bigger fish mixed in. 70-80’ 9/30 fished Dunkirk just to change it up and give it a try. Fished 90’ range and they were bitting. Sticks spoons and harnesses. Rigger at 80, slide divers out 160-170 on 1.5 setting, and few on lead cores Could keep poles in the water. 3 man limit in hr and 40 mins. Made two trips out this year and it was a blast. Amazing fishery!

    Wanted to thank everyone that posts. We Have over a 4 hr drive. Went out of the catt today. Got our 3 man limit and had a blast. Fished 70’ plus. Got fish on harnesses, spoons, and sticks. Riggers down 45-65, 5 and 8 color cores and slide divers. All eater size. Any action out of Dunkirk or Barcelona

    Fist trip to Erie for Us this year. Was up from Wednesday to Saturday. Didn’t get out Wednesday Do to the wind. Thursday only got out for about an hour due to the wind. Did end up finding a few fish in 65-70’ of water. Friday went to same area To the West and picked up 15. Mix of sticks and harnesses. Few on riggers but most on lead core. 45-60 down. Saturday Went even further toward PA line and just couldn’t find to many fish. Did end up getting 6 on harnesses in 60-85’. Went back to same area as Friday and picked up 9 more. All on harnesses. Lead core caught the most for us. Only been fishing on Erie the last 3 years (trip or 2 a year) Did the wind and front that came through scatter the walleye? I never did mark any schools of fish like in the past. Anybody figure out where the eyes where hiding? All and all good trip. Kids had fun!

    Saturday Went west 65-80 foot of water. Slow pick but did end up with 8 including a 10lber which was my daughters biggest ever. Sticks and harness both caught fish. Down riggers around 45’, 7 and 8 color lead cores Today Went west again and ended up with 3 man limit 65-75’ . Purple, pinks with white worked. Half sticks and half harnesses.     Made the 4.5 hr drive and Fished this morning before the wind picked up. Got 3 a little west in 65-80 feet. One on spoon, a stick and a harness. No pattern yet. Staying here to fish the next few days. Fished seemed scattered.

    Anybody have a report? Where is the launch in Barcelona? Is it by the light house

    Another slow morning for us. Only got one on worm harness. Fished 60-80 might try Barcelona later

    Fished 6:30- 9:00 caught 3 eyes on harnesses. 25- 30 feet down over 65-70. Can’t get nothing to go deep on riggers or slide diver. Going back out in the am. Been fishing to the west. Good luck

    Fished 9:00-1:30 today. 1 walleye on harness in 60’. Anybody having luck? Heading back out tonight

    Fished 5:30-9:30 pm Wednesday 3 for 4 on harnesses. Nothing on stick or spoon. Fished 60-80. Fishing next few days. 2nd time fishing here trying to figure it out.

    Caught 15 today all on harnesses. Slide diver, riggers, lead-core and in line weights worked. Tried switching things up to get a better bite but we just had to work for them. Good luck

    First time out of Dunkirk this afternoon and we did ok. Did get 12 but had to work for them. All on harnesses most came 40-70 down. Nice fish 3-6 pounds. Anybody else have any luck? Going back out in the morning. I’ll report again tomorrow

    Never launched out of sturgeon. Is there a fish cleaning station there? Plan on Fishing Thursday and Friday. Anybody been fishing this week? Thanks for any info. Let ya know how we make out.

    First trip to Erie and it was a good one. Fished the 26th and 27th. Friday caught between 35 and 40 in only 4 hours lost track. Couldn’t keep rods in water. Biggest was 8.5 lbs and smallest was 17 1/2 inches. Worm harnesses were hot but did get a few on a bomber long A. 53’ of water was best for us. Saturday they seemed to have spread out but did get another 40 through the day. Caught them on riggers lead-core and bottom bouncers. Wanted to try some different ways and they all worked. My daughter and I want to thank everyone who posts on here. It helped us out a lot! Buffalo launch was great along with the fish cleaning station. What rigger releases does everyone use? My off shore releases didn’t pop all the time. I have the medium tension. Think I should order some of the light off shore white ones.
