Let the dipsys out with the clicker On, this will allow the dipsy to slowly reach the desired depth and prevent the diver from getting ahead of the harness without tangling... Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Tough day out of the Catt today, only boated 2 keepers. Fished all depths between 60- 80 ft . Had friends in 2 other boats ,one got skunked the other boat picked up 1 walleye, thermocline set up @ 42’ . Temps below ranged from 48- 57 degrees, tried to target the fish fish we were marking @ around 50’ , lock jaw! Hopefully the lake will stabilize after a few days of southerly breezes forecast for the next few days! Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Got a 2 man limit yesterday out of the Catt 77’ fish were tight to the bottom, picked away at them in the morning, fish really turned on later in the day. Filled the box and had 2 on that we had to release when pulled lines , and lost a couple. gold and purple in the morning, later fire tiger blades turned hot . All on dipsys and riggers. Only 1 on a rapala early... Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Hey coldfeet we had the same experience yesterday out of the Catt long day with a few walleye and 3 perch.: talked with 2 guys who limited out , said they had better luck with targeting the fish that were suspended 10-15’ from the bottom. We had targeted the bottom, while marking a bunch of good sized hooks all over on the bottom. These must be the laziest fish in the lake ! Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Just wondering what the legality of this method is! As this isn’t a rod and reel or a hand line ....sounds like desperation to me! Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Managed 2 walleye out of Buffalo on Thursday, had 2 other boats out same thing, DEC @ launch was conducting creel census said that the best catch at the time was 5 fish , I believe that according to a recent report on the Sturgeon point thread, the fish may be moving westward.. The elbow is where the Canadian border angle changes and runs to the southwest , approximately due north from 18 mile creek. We also fished there yesterday and had pretty good luck, ended up with 9 and lost 3, should have limited out, I ran out from Buffalo but Sturgeon Point is closer. Purple and black worked best ran dipsys and riggers all on harnessses Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

2 of us fished for 6 hrs, however we met a husband and wife at the cleaning station that were fishing the same area: they ended up with 9 really nice fish. They were bottom bouncing with 3way rigs and 5 ounces of lead, going really slow.. also we marked a lot of fish and bait in that area Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United

Took the wife and kids out bottom bouncing off silver creek 48-52 fow . We managed 2 nice walleye, lost a couple and got our limit of SHEEPHEAD. The fish were there just not aggressive. Saw a lot of what I believe were fresh water shrimp floating dead ,on the surface. Maybe some kind of hatch or something. Think they had been feeding on them? Sent from my iPad using Lake Erie United
