Any other organizations in WNY that we can get involved with this fight please pass along the information and this link to them as well such as boating associations, outdoor clubs, travel and tourism people and community associations. Make sure that each village and town stands up for our lake rights and opposes this incursion on our waters! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Sunday was awful, we struggled off of Dunkirk to put any in the box while we heard reports of others boxing out easily, even though we had identical setups and speed. I am not sure if thefish were in tight pods or not but it seemed we were not able to connect like others did trolling in the same water, frustrating for sure. Awesome! Congratulations! Yeah this weather has not been turkey friendly. I have not been out yet, just too tough trying to get the boat ready to go and dodging the rain as well. I have had to pick and choose how to use the few good days we have had on the weekends. Going to try this weekend to get out! I hope this dries up soon so that the hens can sit their nests and poults can survive. Worst thing is cold and wet conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Exactly, there is absolutely no need for these to be in the lake, this is not the ocean. If NYS wants to supplement its energy consumption from wind power on the water, they should place them offshore in the ocean off of long island and let the folks in the Hamptons stare at them! Good place for them, the scandinavian countries have had ocean placed windmills for years, let that be an example and place them off of the East Coast, not in our fishery or our drinking water. Just like the powerplant on the river, we do not see any benefit to that nonsense and this is the same resource grab, but they (albany and dwnstate) don’t have to deal with looking at it, or its impact on our community, in the case of the dam we have the ice boom that impacts us every year so the water intakes are clear of ice, all in the name of energy production for downstate. This will turn into the same nightmares, we will bare all of the cosequence while Albany and downstate benefit politically and fiscally. It is unaccepatable and every single boater, beach goer, fisherman and resident that enjoys looking at our lake and enjoying everything it offers in WNY needs to write their politicians or call them and say enough is enough and NO we do not want these in our water, period!! We fished yesterday off the Catt from 60-80 fow, picked only one fish, ran zig zag pattern in and out across those depths from top to bottom with lead and dipseys was a tough day to swallow. The lake definately flipped temps, lets hope it picks back up this weekend as it warms up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

We use the magnum #3 Dipseys in the black and green or black fire tiger, we caught equal numbers in both, that didnt seem to matter. The larger dipseys dive deeper with less line out and also with the large ring on they dive even more, again less line out is always nicer. The smaller eyes dont trip a magnum but they usually hook themselves, I really watch the curve in the rods to see if there is any change if it looks "off" compared to the other side of the boat it usually has a fish on it. Other times you will see them hit it and thats a no brainer. Keep your lines tight and good luck out there! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

Boxed out yesterday off of Catt, 85 fow had some throwbacks, dipseys on a 1 set at 165 and 3 set 195 and purple copper harnesses, picked up one on 8 color lc with purple bayrat, 2.0 speed. Fish ranged from 15-27" the heaviest was 7 lbs with the rest average size, screen was loaded, we couldnt keep em off and limited out in 3 hours. Awesome day on the lake!
