    Larry, I had 3, 4 and 5 out. Was a bit later in the am when I was out so fish might have been a touch deeper. I also lost a fish on the four color . I was surprised the 3 didn't have a hit. Was running mostly short shallow rats and thunderstick juniors.

    Fished North Basin Labor Day- floaters weren't bad, picked up a couple eyes on 5 color goby bay rat. Boat traffic OK until noon. Expect water and traffic to improve after the holiday.

    Larry, nice report. Glad to see you got keeper eyes. Thursday we did a dozen short fish on the weed line near Prendergast. Glad to hear the bigger fish are going too.

    Pair of Penn 320GT2LC linecounter reels- work fine. Were used with four and six color leadcore-have backing on them. Windows fell out of counter and got a little cloudy when they were glued back in. If someone wanted to replace Penn has "updated" Part# 1195500 @ $4.65 each. Price $110 for pair (don't want to separate). Local pickup or if shipped would be buyers expense.

    I use Walker-back them off to as light as possible. Still have to check for sleepers. Do use a Blacks on probe rigger with rubberband.

    Jetty- happened late November/early December. I'm sure there is some pretty nasty stuff like sheeting in the channel. Feds announced emergency funding to fix-haven't heard anything more on timing.

    Glad to hear that you can sneak through as I was afraid channel would be completely blocked. Be interesting to see when it will get fixed. Thanks for sharing.
