  1. Rays town is a really narrow lake. If your going to fish start 3 hours before daylight and quit when the first speed boat comes by at around 8am. Night fishing is best at Raystown. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United

  9. When the water is cold in the spring and early summer the fish will be shallow. Run worm harness at 1.2 to 2.2 mph. In the bottom 15 feet of the water you are fishing. So if your in 45 FOW you want your baits 30 to 43 feet down. In the early summer I use down riggers, dipsy divers and lead core to get my baits down to the fish. As the fish get more active (when the water warms up) the bait will move deeper and the walleye will follow. By the end of summer and the start of fall you’ll be fishing in 70 to 100 FOW down about 40 to 65 feet using spoons and fishing at about 2.0 to 2.7 mph. If you follow these guidelines you will have plenty of fish in the freezer by fall and you will have acquired a lot of first hand knowledge, I promise you.. good luck and tight lines. 16. there is a 1995 just like mine for sale on LOU for 8200. I believe. he says his will do 35 mph. I think he is stretching the truth a little.
  17. yes its true. top speed is 25 mph cruse speed is about 22 loaded up for fishing. I'm usually not in that big a hurry to get where I'm going anyway. it is a very stable platform to fish from, high sides. its stable enough to fish 4's and 5's. any more than that and its not fun anymore anyway. I have a 9.9 4-stroke kicker on mine, really nice for trolling. my wife and I stay rite on the boat when we go fishing for a long weekend. its really comfortable.

  19. The walleye fishing is really heating up. We went out this morning at 7 back by 11. Caught 28 today kept 12. All nice fish. 40 to 50 FOW 35 to 45 feet down. Caught most on harness and sticks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Erie United Mobile App
  20. so you'll be fishing deeper than you would on the west end. you'll need a deeper diving plug. I fish out of the north east, I usually fish worm harnesses early and walleye spoons as the water warms up. last year you could drag just about anything and catch walleye. its suppose to be better this year. good luck.
