mostlymuskies
We started out in the South Basin marking a few walleye ,but no bigger hooks.Water quality was putrid heavy algae.Moved to North Basin and marked only walleye in 25 to 35 ft depths. We then shortened trolling lines and got right up on weed edges and found bait fish balls. Finally catching a 35 1/2" muskie. The water was tea color and we were following a 30 degree overnight outside temperature drop making action very slow.Looks like most fish & bait are in near shore weeds.70 degree water up North and 68 degrees South. This coming weekend will be major cold front , high near 55 and low near 38.We will wait till middle on next week to try again.
