  1. Boat Operator license Permits????? After the weekend "Safety boat operators Blitz by many police agencies resulted in launch delays for Western New York boaters A boat operators permit for everyone was a $48 fine for adults and children operators, just where are the permits sold at and administered?

  2. From downtown Buffalo to Lake Ontario shorelines the Niagara River is loaded with walleyes, yellow perch, rainbow lake trout to 20 pounds, and brown trout, muskellunge, chinook and coho salmon, bass accessible on foot after parking. The lower gorge below the falls  and power dam areas after a steep hike down the trails to the water edge. Spinning rods, slip bobbers drifted along the shore produce minnows, egg sacs, spinners, plastic tubes and whatever you bring to have the fish eat. A big landing net is advised. A cooler with ice is smart. Lights after dark are smart to prevent falls.

  3. Lake Erie in these hot sunny days has the surface water temp4ratures of 67 degrees. Now you should search for perch schools in at least 55 foot depths. West of Sturgeon Point Marina to Dunkirk. The key to large schools of perch attracted to your boats shadow is plenty of emerald shiner baits suspended near the bottoms they have attractive odors that the perch home in on. Use at least three minnows on each of your three rods per angler. An anchor hooked solid to the bottom keeps the bait odor under your With halibut long lines sets in Alaska all the baited hooks keep the halibut inline. On head boats on the coasts the right and left corners produce best as all the line of anglers with their bait and the first corners are the first baits they find. A friend of mine comes in with a 55 gallon barrel full of cod there every day..

  4. The lost vehicle time for work travel is not covered. For every unharvested doe, next spring develops twin fawns put three deer on our roads for deer collision problems. Yesterday in the southern tier areas i counted ten dead deer freshly killed at roadsides. Wake up !!!!! big buck hunters, take a doe first then your big buck. Automobiles kill too many deer now.

  5. After my Grandson wrecked two vehicles near Belfast, NY while commuting to work, My vehicle losses were estimated at $30,000 each. He did not cause the accidents, he claimed the deer caused  them. Replacement vehicles were a hit in the wallet and the deer did not respond. All the posted against hunting landowners are not responded. Doe permits do not cutdown on highway accidents.
