Great day today. Took mom out fishing this am. Fished 80-90 ft just west of Catt. Most fish were at 60-70. Pretty easy 2 man limit in 2 1/2 hrs. Finished the morning on a triple. A little bumpy but I’ll take it for October. Should be good tomorrow too. About 15 boats out there. And a few trying for perch. Fish still loving anything purple! Have fun guys! -
Lots of reports. Plenty of fish on the bottom and a few reports of fish suspended. Fish are def still there. Hopefully last nights cold snap doesn’t change anything but the lake temp is 65 and the fish are everywhere. If it were me I would pick up minnows to try to find the perch after the limit of walleye. That’s how it’s been^

I was thinking of Thursday also. Maybe I will check the forecast out in the morning and make sure it’s gunna Be decent out there.

Yeah I thought u were the guy in the Subaru today lol. We may be back Sunday morning but we will have to see. Nice to meet a fellow leu member at the launch!

Good day. Got calmer as the day went on. 2 man limit by 9 o’clock. Kept fishing for fun and probably caught 20-22 fish altogether and off the water by 1030. One big slob,8 lber, the rest were in the perfect size range 18-24. Loved anything purple today. I used purple cranks and purple harnesses. Both worked great. Hopefully this patch of weather doesn’t screw it all up bc it is on fire right now.

Sunday got an 8 and 6. The time before I got a 9. Most of them are 18-24” my neighbor got a 12lb on Sunday out of Dunkirk.

Nice morning. Got out about 715. 2 man Limit by 1030. Fish were marked all over the place. From 20- tight to the bottom. 70 ft of water was best. Even a hair under 70. Sticks and harnesses split the haul. Great day but definitely rough when we got off the water at 11

Second everything dcra said. Very good day. Bugs were bad bc no wind.

2 man limit today. Easy fishing fish suspended 40-60 ft down. Marked a ton of fish everywhere. 65-85 ft deep. Leadcore sticks and harness on Dipsy. Harness caught a couple big fish. 9lbs and 7lbs. Sticks caught all 18-22 inchers. Plenty of boats out there and there was a lot of boats just outside the creek on the perch beds. Not sure how they were doing but they were combat style about 20 boats in 100 yds.

I can and do. I’ve been out only one time this year where I didn’t catch mine. But I don’t understand why we all wouldn’t want to help other fisherman get better and learn to love the sport like I do. This is a fishing report blog so if you don’t have info don’t post.

Has anyone ever had any experience running reef runner 800s(deep divers) with leadcore. I’m wondering how they work. I’ve had a lot of success with he ripstick recently. Also I use the sufix 832 advanced. Any responses greatly appreciated.

Jimski for me it’s been blue/purple flicker minnow. And reef runner ripstick. Chartreuse has been good too. I’m gunna try the deep diver reef runners Sunday. Never ran the deep ones on leadcore but I’m gunna give it a shot. -

It should get better with the warmer temps. As long as this east wind leaves soon.

I heard west was better. Bc I’m looking at my screen now marking only fish on bottom. Maybe marked 5 today up at 60 where they were last week. Probably tomorrow and this weekend it’ll settle the water temp back down and the fish will be around 55-60 out of the Catt.
