The walleye river run is officially going.  Check out the amount of anglers down there this past weekend.

I took the boat for a quick maintenance run yesterday on Lake Erie.  Decided to take the drone along for the ride.  The guys seem to be getting the walleye shallow by the number of boats I seen trolling close to the bank.

This is another fall bass fishing video.  Hopefully it will get everyone excited as I am about getting back out on open water.  There was a strong east wind this day and it forced me into a real common area where everyone launches there boat from.  I'm thinking many of you might recognize this place.  Hope you enjoy the video, and enjoy your time on the water this spring.

Much appreciated.  It won't be long.  Ice is breaking up on the river now.

If the wind keeps you off the lake during the big walleye spawn in the Western Basin.  The Maumee River is always a nice back up plan to get some walleye for the day.  I took a drone aerial view of the Maumee River's best fishing areas for the walleye.  I did this when the water level was really low to give a good perspective on the best spots.

Here is a new Lake Erie Fishing video from this past fall.  There are some different areas than you have seen in the past videos.  It was a short, but very productive trip.  If you watch the video with your phone you should be good.  If you watch with your computer, ipad, or T.V.   You will want to click the bottom right to make it full screen, and click the other icon next to it to make it better quality.  Hope you enjoy it.  We have a few other new ones to come out in the following weeks.

For guys that have put their boat up for the season.  Metzger Marsh Wildlife area on Lake Erie is a good place to wet a line or go duck hunting.  Here's is an aerial view of the place.

You know you have a good trip when you catch some bonus fish while out.  I made it out this summer and had a bass trip planned, and ended up finding walleye on my spots that day.   Ended up with a great mix of fish.  The video is in the link below.  Click the lower right of the video next to Rumble to make it full screen.

Slow transition between ice up and open water.   Hope this short video I did out of East Harbor gets ya through the weekend with the sights, sounds, and a few decent catches.

Sorry I missed this bud.  I was in Tennessee and Kentucky for over a week.  You can find the channels starting around Port Clinton and they go all the way around the Western Basin to the Detroit River.  I was just in East Harbor this past Monday.  Hope this helps.  Tight lines

Little late getting this up, but this video will probably help you locate bass on Lake St. Clair.  It can be overwhelming if it's your first time fishing there, but there is a way to find those bass without traveling all over the lake.  This video will show you some exact locations to catch them and tactics to use.

Locations and lures to catch those early fall transition bass on Lake Erie.  I made my way out on Lake Erie looking for those Largemouth moving in.  I was able to piece together a pretty good morning.  Caught probably 30 by 11 am.   Two lures did the most damage.   I put together a little video that will show you the day went and what lures worked best.

Fish anywhere around the islands, reefs, breakwalls, rip rap.   Even more fish will be moving to these areas in the next few weeks.  Good luck

Detroit River Fishing

It's been crazy couple month's working at UPS.  I'm finally getting around to posting a fishing trip I had on Lake Erie back in October.

I fully intended to go out for some walleye and perch the next couple days and even planned the days off work this week.  The weather isn't going to cooperate.  I decided to process a largemouth video I did while fishing when the weather was still a little warm.  I hope you guys enjoy it, because it will be one of the last videos I do this year.  It's been real taxing getting them in when you only have 4 to 4 1/2 hours to fish.  Tight lines fella's, and looking forward to reading others reports.

I had an excellent day on the lake fishing for bass.  I thought those darn things would be on the humps, but they fooled me.  They were shallow this particular day along the shoreline.  Caught some real nice smallmouth and largemouth.  Plus had a jumbo perch!

Great job!  Nice job on the video.

That's good to know on the trolling speed.  I had no clue, but tried to stay around 2 mph or less.

Awesome job. I’m sure he won’t forget that trip anytime soon.
