  1. Went out Thursday from Dunkirk-n/w from harbor to 75'-set lines at 6am trolling northeast to 89'-by 745am had 5 in the box-all on brown Renowskys on Walker Deeper Divers on 2 out 150'-and then never moved a net all day. Up/down/dark/light/lead core/harnesses/browns-reds/yellows per my wife-nothing produced another bite!!! Wednesday was non-stop all day-perch-walleye-sheepshead and a steelhead!!! The boats on the lake disappeared on Thursday-so maybe the bite turned off for everyone on Thursday during the day and Wednesday there was an armada of boats out all day off the windmills.... Walteye
  2. Looking at the NOAA forecast for Monday-Tuesday-10 footers??? Little scary-but they have known to be wrong. Give it a shot. But not by me!. Walteye
  3. Fished Tuesday out of Dunkirk (Crestliner 21' wrapped boat)-Wife and dog both sick due to the rough seas-ended up with 5 all on red Renoskys 50' down over 80-lead with snap weight and dipseys.. Wednesday -Friday fished in 1' or less as predicted (we all know the true story) out of Barcelona-caught from 5 fish to 2 man limit heading out to PA line and trolling back to Brocton shoals. Black and purple/copper back harness did the work early-then brown/orange Renoskys took the most fish. Threw Stinger spoons on dipseys through the days and only caught sheepshead-although a couple were in the 12-15# range!! We marked a lot of fish up in the 20' range-we caught silver bass and small walleye ( 16") fishing smaller stick baits there. we marked BIG bait balls or very congregated perch near the bottom- besides the bait in all different shapes and sizes that were thrown up by our walleye-their stomaches were full. That may be a reason why we are not catching limits plus...... On Friday in the 1' or less (LOL)-my wife and dog both were sick again. My 8 year old White German Shepherd never got sick until this year- it must be my wife getting sick first!!! Thanks for the info..... Walteye
  4. Hey-3rd year in a row-Red (not purple and not pink)-outfished everything 10 days ago fishing out of Dunkirk 80-90' of water. There was a school off the windmills N/E out of the harbor that we beat on pretty good from Dunkirk in 80-90 FOW that was deep and anywhere marks were up high (20') that were walleye/silver bass/ sheepshead and steelhead mixed. For us-it was not a hard bite. But it was just a two man limit.....(woman to get it right for my wife!!!-Judy did the netting-especially when i told her that it was the 10 color) Walteye
  5. That perch sure tasted good!! Walteye
  6. Fished out of Dunkirk 7/15-16-17/2020-went northeast and southwest. 2 man limit 7/15 and 7/17. Was extremely rough before the storms on 7/16-fished from 630am-9am and had 4 in the box before my wife and dog both got seasick and we headed in. All days fished dipseys with Renoskys deep and planer boards down 20' and caught high and low. Caught the biggest perch of my life on a harness-17" ! Walteye
  7. On 9/1/17 the DEC in Dunkirk checked my catch for the electronic tags and we discussed about the jaw tags. In the past-the only ones I ever caught were from Ohio. When they sent me the info on the fish I caught-I thought it was pretty cool. Good luck and enjoy! Walteye
