  1. Average 4-6 days a week on the lake. Even if it’s just a couple hours after work. It helps that I’m less then 15 minutes from 3 launches
  2. Fished the last few hours of light. Stayed in tight and pounded them, 20 exactly landed and released. Every harness worked it didn’t really seem to matter. Doubles triples and a couple of quads. Fish ranged from dinks to 24”
  3. Love eating eyes but freezer is full currently. Still working on perch from April lol. I’m only keeping what fish won’t release till I start running low
  4. Mid 50s. Hit that spot up again yesterday evening and they were gone. Salvaged the trip running offshore nabbing a quick 14 fish that released great.
  5. Made a quick evening run, fished 7-9pm. Set up about 5 miles east of the Catt, found a mega school 2 miles long of piles on fish constantly on the graphs. The bite was fast and furious with times only able to fish 1 rod in hand. When we were able to get more rods in, doubles triples and even quads were normal. Landed over 40 all released but 1 that went in the cooler on ice. Worm harnesses on 5oz bb did best, small spoon on a bb also took fish.
  6. Went out first light with some intel on a spot from a buddy. Lines in at 530 spoons and harnesses on bb’s. Back at the ramp before 630 with our 12
  7. Out of sp today. Took less than 20 minutes to box out. Dropped right in on them in the first spot I tired. All harnesses with bottom bouncers. Released another dozen, few dandy perch and a couple sheephead
  8. Anyone ever target summer steelhead in the NY Lake Erie waters?
  9. Fished deep today and found eyes everywhere. As shallow as 45 and out to 82. Took a limit plus a handful released with harnesses on bottom bouncers. Dozen nice perch and plenty of white perch action. Sheephead have been nonexistent and I’m not complaining
  10. Back out of Hamburg today for a few hours, last spot I hit them at was dead so back on the search heading west. Found a good pod little deeper in 42-46. Full spread of bb with harnesses took 8 eyes, one over 28” released. Got a big catfish and a few bass to boot
  11. Found a good school and hot action off Hamburg today, full spread with bouncers and snap weights with harnesses. Little work to get them to snap but got a limit and tossed some back
  12. Little searching required but once I hit only took 2 hours to box out on an excellent size class of perch
  13. I was out of Hamburg that day, over 20 eyes landed. I Haven’t been out for eyes since, been chasing other species on Erie. Should be getting back on the walleye soon
  14. Day program is starting up, awesome bite in 30-34fow. Bottom bouncers with harnesses and sticks with snap weights both took fish. Got a handful of bonus smallmouth, sheephead, white perch and even lost two steelhead boat side
  15. 4/24/25-fished the offshore waters, 65fow plus, took some searching but had the mega all to ourselves, 2 man box by 2pm. 4/25/25-fished inshore and dropped in right on them, no one around. Boxed 60 before the storm hit. Headed back after it the lake laid down and pick up right were we left off. Boxed out with 100. been an epic season with over 8 limits. Haven’t used bait once
  16. I’ve never tried plastics, they are slow to fall. Any type of small heavy hardware works. It’s more about being over fish than anything else. If your not catching you should be moving
  17. The usual jigging raps and spoons, I’ve never thrown a perch rig before, stay over them and you’ll get them. Fished today 4/13/25 no bait once again….100 fish box by 11am different spot from Friday
  18. Fished all day 4/11/25 covered over 10 miles, from the inshore region to the offshore waters. Had a small handful when packing it up. Starting to cruise off went over a patch a sand that was holding a school over 10’ thick on the graph. 47 minutes later boxed out. No bait was used in the making of this limit. Artificials only
  19. Been able to find perch every trip for the last few weeks. Schools are large when you find them, but still moving fast. Nab and few then wait for the next school to move thru
