  1. Fished out of Buffalo on Friday. Fast two person limit, lots of fish on the boards not as many on the bottom bouncers. Sunday total opposite. Hardly any fish on the boards and all the fish came on the bottom bouncers. Most fish came in 49Fow. Went out to 55 FOW and caught a few more on the bottom. Weird how two days makes that much of a difference. Tight lines….
  2. I know it’s not as fast of a limit as Sunset but, out of Buffalo we did a 3 man limit in 3 1/2 hours. Copper backs definitely out produced silver back harnesses. 3,4,5 oz. Snap weights on the boards out produced the bottom bouncers too. Many suspended fish from 48 FOW to 53 FOW. Tight lines folks.
  3. Anyways,,,, the fishing out of the Catt is still on fire. I went to 77 FOW and went east. Limited out by the time I hit 73 FOW. 4 color and 7 color caught fish and All dipsys caught fish as did the riggers set at 45’ and 63’ down. All color worm harnesses worked.
  4. For your information, we fished with 4 people and caught 4 fish bringing in all the lines. All were released and dove down in the water column with no mortality.
  5. This must be what the folks in Ohio feel like every year until the fish migrate. I had 2 days of fishing, caught 50 walleye in 4 1/2 hours! This is insane!
  6. I have a 21 foot 1983 Crestliner.
  7. Went out yesterday to 80Fow. Very rough. Believe it or not, the wave forecast was way off!!! Started the troll towards Sturgeon point and had a 3 man limit in 2 hours. Every rod caught fish and we couldn’t get only 6 rods in the water. Harnesses did the trick.
  8. It’s insane out of Buffalo right now. Find the boats and you will find the fish. Bottom bouncers, troll, jig…. They all caught fish today.
  9. Fished out in front of the windmills in 30-37 FOW today. Bottom bounce harnesses. Managed 7 nice eyes. Slow start for me this year. Best color was an Orange front copper back blade today
  10. Drifting with the electric motor pushing us 1.2-1.3 mph(sog)
  11. I use 7 and 8 oz bottom bouncers when I’m over 65 FOW
  12. Beautiful sun today!
  13. Went today and bottom bounced in 64-67 FOW. Lots of bait out there. Managed 11 eyes. Couldn’t keep the perch from biting. Tried keeping the bottom bouncer 8-12 cranks off the bottom but still caught perch. Lots of fish out there but it got rough quick.
  14. Went outa The Catt today. Pretty bumpy out there but managed 14 today only 1 fish needed to be measured all others were good sized. Worm harnesses did the trick. Every color worked. 85-82 FOW, 60-65 feet down was where we marked most of our fish
