  1. Launched out of the Catt this morning. So much for - ’s. man limit , all harnesses, watermelon, purple/ pink, and purple/ black. [emoji[emoji6]] core, downriggers at [emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] - [emoji6][emoji6] feet, dipsey’s out [emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] and [emoji[emoji6]][emoji6] worked best.
    The waves made fishing difficult
Waiting for us at the launch, DEC gentleman, very nice, checked licenses, fish and yes our Boater Safety Cards.

The "pee hole" on my Yahmy300 is a tell tale that the cooling system is working.

One time I ran the boat and there was no "pee" and the motor didn't overheat.

I have had many issues with bug related obstructions of this line.

I started to put a pipe cleaner in the hole while not in use and haven't had a problem since.

    By the way,

Proving the tell tale idea of the "pee hole", I forgot to take the pipe cleaner out and had no overheating issues.

    Pipe cleaner works!!!!!

    Grumpy'sGrady!

The engine never over heated.  I will try and clean out that hole.  Hope it works!!

  3. Went out of Dunkirk this morning. Ended up with 1 and lost 1 on firetiger harness.
After being on the water for about an hour, we noticed no water coming out from the water pump. So we packed it in for the day. Now we need to find a marine mechanic who works on Honda Engines. If anyone know of a person other than place, please let me know. Thanks

  4. Fished out of Dunkirk.  Managed to boat 10, fished ranged from 17" - 26".  best depth was about 75 - 85 feet, 50 - 60 feet down.  Riggers at 50 and 60, dipsey's out anywhere from 175 - 185, could not get the lead core going.  tried multiple colors and baits (sticks, spoons, and harnesses)  nothing was really the go to.

  5. Fish out of Barcelona this morning. Launched at 6:30 AM back in with a two-man limit by 9:45 AM a rough start. Best depth was anywhere from 75 feet to 80 feet give or take. 5 core lead worked well with a deep diving stick bait . Down riggers parked anywhere from 45 to 55 feet as well as 68 feet (just off bottom . Dipsy diverss out 140 to 150‘ some action but not much. Core and Downrigger’s were best for us today , sticks, spoons and harnesses all caught fish. A mixed bag of 16 and 17 inches and then some 20 to 21 inches nothing huge all good eating fish.

  7. Just wondering what everyone’s best/ favorite choice of bait/ lire was? Spoon, stick bait work harness? Thanks for sharing. Also, a good time for me to spend some money on things in do not have in my arsenal. Thanks and tight lines.

  8. Went out of Dunkirk yesterday, managed 5 keepers, 2 perch and 3 throwbacks. The color yesterday seem to be black and purple add a gold blade with gold beads. Fished between 70 and 85 foot of water, Dipsy’s did best at 145 to 175 foot out. That worked well. Also had a lot of short hits either from perch or silver bass Kept checking, Dipsy’s and downrigger’s came up with worms stripped almost every time. Had to fight through a few other issues, with a downrigger, and even lost one of our torpedo weights.

  9. Ckawski and Stillwater, I really appreciate sharing some info. I will most likely going to Dunkirk and set up somewhere between 50 and 100 feet of water. I will add to the report once we get off the lake or sometime that evening. If you’re out before then and you want to share I would willingly take that information. Thanks and good luck to the both of you.

  10. thinking of heading out of either the Catt  or Dunkirk on Sunday.  I know things can change weekly or at least since the last time we were out.  Can or is anyone willing to help another fisherman out by  providing some information as to what depth you are fishing, how many feet down, dipsy length, etc..  Thank you and good luck.  Keep the reports coming.
