Props to you lineman! I would say I can’t believe they all ignored them but I’m not surprised. Its one dog one bone these days. One day the shoe will be on the other foot for those that ignored them. Karma’s a bitch! Glad they got back in safe.

The fish you caught in July were the western basin school. You are fishing local populations in May. The nite bite has been stellar this year. We don’t day fish walleye until after Memorial Day. In the past years June means fishing the fence off Buffalo

I had the pleasure to fish with seamaster Saturday night. Beautiful night. No secrets- flatlined in 7-10’ of water. Blue and silver Rapala was the hot lure. All real healthy males a bit larger than in years past-

Good to see some duck talk- I hunt west end of Ontario and drive by the upper river in Buffalo on my way to work. There are birds but not many “freezer ducks”. Wish I could help you coach but hopefully this thread continues. Good luck hunting- cold is in it’s way

Any good ducks around on your end of Erie Brandon? Ontario has decent numbers but mostly merganser and Goldeneye. Butchering 5 deer in 2 days has me questioning filling any doe tags anytime soon. Freezer jammed with venison and walleye. 2017 goes down as one great year with the fins and fur in my book.

Nice Buck Brandon- your daughter is a spitting image of you. I hunted one property Saturday and a different on Sunday. All 5 of us tagged our bucks. It was definitely all or nothing. I never saw a deer opening day but got run over on Sunday. Bucks were chasing hard Sunday in southern Erie county. This was the best of the bunchIMG_0812.HEIC

Got into my stand this AM in 9W just as the snow began, light at first then it picked up off and on for the next 3 hours. Saw absolutely zero between my friend and I. He had to work so the plan was for him to get out of his stand at noon and we would walk out together. Got out of my stand a little early- bladder full! Ducked under a tree and waited for my friend. No sooner was I under the tree when this busted up guy walks broadside 30 yards away. Not a beast but I’m happy to have it with limited time to bow hunt. The shot was just to perfect to pass, from the ground no less- my stand was 40 yards away.. Good luck all- butchering day tomorrow!IMG_0784.HEICIMG_0786.HEIC
