All we can do is wait to see what happens but in the meantime good luck to all that will be out for the walleye opener and be safe.

Hi Jim I sure don't have the answers but it sure will be a shame if Sturgeon point doesn't open this year. Sure will make launching at SBH a mess. And there is also the safety issue of not having a safe harbor from the Catt. to SBH

It is a shame to have the great fishery that we have here in Erie county but no way to access it. We need to have Sturgeon point become a STATE PARK this way it will be maintained the right way.

I saw on the news today that Sturgeon point might not open at all this season. Lets hope this is not the case.
