Its a bit more technique rather than dragging lines around, its awesome to feel that walleye strike,FisH ON!! but don't get me wrong I troll at times .

Hey there Fyshon, I was drifting ,using the jigging method. Round jighead with plastic or live bait.

the walleye run is showing up ,the water has to be getting to temp.

Was down there last night 10p.m. to 3:30am ,only seen a few minnows and walleye.

I have been going dwn to the lower river 2 to 3 times a week since early April .only seen 4 small smelt in a bucket .from that sight ,that reminded me , run already happen, which means they could of ran in March? That ice boom ruins the river and causes delays.im not a expert but ,just wanted to share some info
