  1. I'm graphing the thermocline at about 60 feet down over 80fow out if northeast....my probes not working ATM but I can see it on graph Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  2. I guess if you thought about it....how many fixed cheaters could you hook to a rigger line? Be a long line for walleye. I believe it's a similar concept to a Seth Green rig for lake trout....(I think lol) would just be electric reel instead of manual Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  3. I am running the okuma glt also...nice rods imo Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  4. I believe also ny has a hook "point" rule....and I agree once hook is attached it's counted to the rod limit....at least one would think Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  5. You don't think it would be considered electric reel? Didn't think about it being used as rod count limit (edit) Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  6. The rigger would probably be classified as a rod and reel wouldn't it? Like those deep drop electric ocean reels? No idea just an interesting concept..... Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  7. If you email Brian he may be able to help you out...check his web page out...his shipping always wicked fast Gamblerrigs.com or fb page Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  8. So you would run a lure off the ball no rod and reel? Seems crazy to me but hey on the slow days I'll try anything. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  9. I think the longer marks with yellow in them are fish....I think some of the smaller "clutter " up top could be bait...fleas...grass..mayflies or whatever they are actively chasing....thats how I interpret that screen. Ps doesn't mean I'm right lol[emoji1787] Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  10. This is what I think the eyes come up on my hummingbird as....no way to know for sure Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  11. Fishing still pretty decent when you find them. Read on gambler rigs fb page that captians were using death traps with his harnesses. So thre 1 on rigger to play with. Wouldn't you know it did 5 of our keepers yesterday....tons of shorts to weed thru Attached pic of the gambler rig harness set up if you haven't seen them Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  12. Idk about to much bait...I do my best when I find bait and fish the active /suspended fish around it....much like salmon guys do. I have no real bite sucks theory... I know the 4th we crushed them....the 5th we didn't.. same spot same water...same depth temp speed lures all the same...did 12 in few hrs...then 1 in 6 lol Fishing! 16. Another weekend...still slow lol...fished Friday sat and Sunday 3-4 hours each day. Did 7 total fish. Only thing the same was worm harnesses. Other than that no rhyme no reason...explored 20 fow -105 fow...marking them but idk wouldn't bite mine lol. Still a great weekend. Saturday was the first time me and the boy went out ourselves...its alot of boat to handle at the dock just me and him but we did well. Shout out to the older guy who scooped my planer board behind me when I lost it. Met him at dock good guy! Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  17. Well sat was a blow so we fished the marina Findley lake and the Eaton res in the morning....nothing at all....fished Presque isle in the afternoon and smoked a bunch of pan fish 7 to dark..probably put 50 or so on shore...boys didn't want to get up Sunday...few pics Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  18. Fished Thursday night for a couple hours before blow...sat morning for 2 hours and Sunday 4 hours....Thursday messed around in tight caught 1 eye....sat we went out to see what the blow did. Messed around in tight didn't do anything marked some fish in 30 fow. Sunday we went deep for Lakers only to find walleye out deep over 100 fow with tons of bait on bottom. Did few nice ones in a few hours. Should have quit chasing Lakers sooner and switched everything to walleye gear....good weekend! Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

  20. Another Saturday of fishing another laker in the boat. Fished 630-10 or so just out enjoying the day with the family. Everyone went west so we started out front and trolled west but stopped before we got to the pack of boats. Marked fish and bait 60-80 fow water temp was 62 if I remember right...let's hope the walleye bite gets going soon. I'll be at it Fri to Monday this week gonna try and target walleye. Laker caught on a gambler rig death trap combo. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  21. IMO wait a few weeks at least....gets better once the water warms Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  22. Fished all weekend for Lakers they are around but spread out...guys seem to be doing better the further west you go but they are combat fishing. The Bass guys are all over. Picked up 1 nice eye while out there chasing Lakers. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  23. Go ask on the LOU forum tons of guys there Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  24. Didn't see a north east thread yet so I'll start . Please add in anytime and I will too. I fish it almost every weekend from now till October with a bunch of weekdays later in season. Friday 5/7 was splash down for 2021 me wife and kids went out shallow to get gear out and give a shakedown run. Fished 10-30 FOW picked up 1 bass in our short 2 hour troll. Marked some fish but nothing crazy water was dirty. Sat 5/8 we fished 7am-9am another quick weather window run for breakfast lol. Looked a little deeper started in about 40 trolled to 60 and back. Grabbed a laker in 58 off a spoon on dipsy. Marked more fish there. Some in top 20 fow alot on bottom with some sort of bait down there too. "Wild Thing" Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
  25. Crazy that people really think putting them in the lake is a real option....lake Ontario is apparently fighting that battle too now. I like the idea of wind power and solar power but I just don't think we have refined it enough to make it worth the time and cost. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk
